Their authority is being undermined -- by their own incompetence. So, they respond by looking for scapegoats. What's happening in Ireland isn't going to stop there. I guarantee you that we will say Europe-wide energy protests because so many people are going to lose their jobs. And our governments won't be able to do anything for the people. Indeed, that's when "right-wing" outfits may step up and offer new authority.
