There’s a Jewish prayer said in synagogues that asks God to destroy Christians and wipe us off the face of the Earth. It’s called the Birkat Ha-Minim, and here’s the original wording in English: “May the apostates have no hope whatsoever, and may the empire of arrogance be uprooted swiftly, in our days. May the Nazarenes and the Minim perish in an instant, may they be erased from the book of life and not be counted among the righteous. Blessed are You, Eternal One, who humbles the arrogant.” Nazarenes means Christians, followers of Christ. Minim means the same thing. This wasn’t some side note.
