Lovelady sucks, but the Mets obv wanted 2nd LHP in the pen (Manaea doesn’t count) until Minter is back. Young > Brujan. It’s the last spot on the bench, neither guy must get ABs. Lindor plays all the time, Bo can be the backup here or there. Young has more value. #LGM #Mets

I’m not saying Bo is gonna win a gold glove, but I’m hearing a narrative in some Mets circles that he: “Has 2 weeks at 3B, if it’s not working.” “Could be abysmal.” “Vientos-caliber at 3B.” Even a poor MLB SS should be adequate at 3B. What are we even doing here? #LGM #Mets

A bit of nostalgia - 86 world series - had no tickets - myself and two buds went to the stadium but scalpers were scalpin big time; so right around the first pitch we happen to see a rope that was flung down from the first tier - approx 75 ft up...we (and dozens of others) scaled the building like Batman and Robin, hopped over the railing and proceeeded to be chased all game by security as we enjoyed the game form many different angles and vantage points.....lol......great memory.....

This is probably an unpopular take, but while Citi Field is a wonderful ballpark, it wasn't built for me. It was built for people who missed the Brooklyn Dodgers. Any real sense of Mets history was ignored for the most part. It's improved over the years, and the aesthetics are wonderful, but I've never felt at home there. Shea Stadium was my home, and I truly miss it.

I know people will say David Stearns is not on the hot seat but last year he gave Sean Manaea & Frankie Montas a combined $109 million. One will never pitch for the team again. The other has struggled mightily since getting that contract. We Need Manaea to be healthy and turn things around.

Because he is too inconsistent... He has a chicken arm, his range is limited, he takes off the first month and a half of the season and is inconsistent throughout the year. I don't even think he's a top 20 player. I don't get blinded by end of year statistics. They don't tell you when the hits came and how he impacted the game to produce wins for his team. He's good. That's it.

Madonna is 65 years old. She’s one of the most influential artists in music history. Question for everyone watching this clip: Is this: A) Still iconic Madonna? or B) A little cringe at this age? Thoughts?
