@UFAW_1926 - ~85% of animals were diverted (e.g., rehomed or kept by owner), ~15% surrendered to shelter - Characteristics predicting diversion similar to in-shelter research (younger, smaller, purebred, no behav issues etc.) - Owners w/ longer time to rehome more likely to divert pets
