@KobeissiLetter Where are the clowns that still argue in favor of "poor iran". How can you trust a regime that blackmails the whole world like that? The mullahs need to go. It's about time the iranian people are freed from those religious zealots.

I'll reiterate that it was only asyemmtric *to the USA* before the shale revoluation. Today, if we blow up Iran's oil infrastructure, and they blow up a chunk of their neighbors, it won't really be the USA that feels the pain like 15 years ago. I'm starting to think this is the end game, and the USA would be right to do it, because that would be the end of the Iranian regime.

Most in Europe who were laughing at Dubai getting hit by Iran these past days (odd behavior) haven't caught up to how this quagmire is going to affect them personally in the foreseeable future. The reaction is going to be delayed, but expect: -Inflation to go up fast (shipping rates through the roof, oil and kerosine prices too). -Food prices to skyrocket, especially due to fertilizers. EU imports most of it from Russia and North Africa, but countries more dependent on the Middle East will likely divert supplies away from the EU (like India). -Oil and gas shortages and electricity disruptions on an electricity grid that has already gotten unstable due to the green revolution. Likely they'll introduce power rationing. -A huge increase in asylum seekers from Iran, Lebanon etc now orange man and Benny lit the Middle East on fire. -Production disruptions due to energy (gas) shortages. -Unlikely there will be enough gas replenishment for the next winter as supplies will be diverted elsewhere. On the bright side, the EU will be forced to end the conflict in Ukraine. They'll need the oil, gas, and more fertilizers (they're still buying as its exempt from sanctions). I wouldn't be surprised to see videos of long queues in front of petrol stations and when you are collectively starting runs on toilet paper again, think of how you were laughing at the misery of others.

KLINGBEIL: GERMANY WON'T BE BLACKMAILED BY TRUMP German Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil said Germany will not be blackmailed by U.S. President Donald Trump after his tariff threats linked to Greenland. “We will not follow Trump’s path. We will not be blackmailed or provoked — by tariffs or words,” Klingbeil said, adding that Europe will respond. His remarks come as France pushes for EU countermeasures to protect the bloc from political and economic pressure.

Oh honey, tell that sob story to the Americans—why waste your hot air on me, you European keyboard warrior? Yeah, NATO—including every single one of your spineless European "partners"—scampered away like terrified rats from Afghanistan in August 2021 after 20 years of bleeding treasure and lives, handing the keys to the Taliban in the most pathetic airlift circus since Saigon. Daddy USA called the shots, everyone followed, and boom—13 US Marines blown up at Abbey Gate, hundreds of Afghans dead in the chaos, interpreters abandoned to torture, and the entire alliance exposed as a paper tiger that can't even hold a goat herder army at bay. Fast-forward to right now, January 2026: Trump sends in special ops, 150+ aircraft light up Caracas, Maduro and his wife get snatched from their compound in the dead of night, perp-walked to New York for narco-terrorism charges, and the US is straight-up running Venezuela while prepping to flood the market with their oil "in much larger doses." Zero American combat deaths announced from the op itself, a handful of minor injuries at most — and poof, the world's largest oil reserves are now under Uncle Sam's thumb. Clean, surgical, profitable. No quagmire, no 20-year sinkhole, no flag-draped coffins streaming home. So yeah, the same military that "couldn't defeat Afghanistan" just bodied a regime in a country with massive population, terrain, and resources—because this time they didn't play nation-building babysitter for two decades. They went in, grabbed the prize, and got out with the oil spigot turned to full blast. Thinking your precious European vassal states in NATO will ever grow the balls to defy Washington? That's peak low-IQ delusion from people who still pretend Brussels has a spine. You're on the shortest leash in geopolitics—America yanks, you heel, every single time. Afghanistan proved you're followers; Venezuela proves that your boss can still win when he actually wants to. Cope harder.

I have been absolutely shocked lately at the number of Europeans who seem to believe they would have any sort of chance against the US military if conflict arose over Greenland. It's just an unprecedented level of delusion. 1) America has bases all over Europe. Europeans, the American military wouldn't even need to invade, it is already inside you. 2) Europe's military spending, all countries together, still does not compare to America's. It's not even close. The resources, the manpower the American military has... Europe would be crushed so immediately that any fighting could barely be called a war. 3) The EU is essentially already in a Cold War with Russia. Do Europeans really think it would be a good idea to divert military resources to *Greenland* of all places while the war rages on in Ukraine? 4) The international community would all but certainly bow to American interests. There is a reason why America spends all the money it does on foreign aid and why it tolerates unequal trade partnerships. If push came to shove, there is a practically zero percent chance that the rest of the world would involve itself in a US-EU conflict at the risk of incurring American sanctions, tariffs, austerity, or worse. Now don't get me wrong, I certainly don't want a war with Europe. I hate war. Plus, Europe would be better off saving its money to pay for all the migrants they're importing. I simply want to point out how ridiculous all the posturing from the likes of Emmanel Macron is. However, I will note that it is refreshing, in one sense, to see any semblance of nationalism from the usually self-flagellating EU neoliberals. It's just a shame it's driven by hopped up Anti-Americanism.

Only brainwashed or ignorant Europeans (including any in Ireland) would support the idea of military action against the U.S. for moves against Greenland. The anti-American sentiment across Europe is mostly because of all the Marxist indoctrination; same applies in Ireland. Westerners should, in general, support U.S. attempts to deny the anti-western communist alliance (China, Russia, North Korea etc) any territory; particularly near to U.S. soil. If the U.S. doesn't take Greenland, the communists will. The same logic applies to intervention in Venezuela etc.
