Let’s reflect on recent sessions at the Peer Educators Academy, a powerful reminder that information, in the right hands, becomes transformation.
From understanding communicable and non-communicable diseases to how infections spread, and how prevention works, peer educators are gaining clarity, confidence, and a deep sense of responsibility.
With insights from experts like Dr Richard Munaana, Dr Solomon Kimera (@Solo_MDofficial), and Dr Rogers Ssenyonjo from @RHUganda, @reachahand ensures young people take back accurate, practical, and life-saving knowledge to their schools and communities.
Beyond vaccines, sexual health, and family planning, peer educators explored disability inclusion with Conny from Light For The World (@LftWUG), learning how to create inclusive spaces so no young person is left behind.
Peer education works because young people listen to each other. Equipped with the right information, they don’t just change their own lives; they become catalysts for healthier choices, informed decisions, and a future shaped by care and awareness.
This year, we aim to take peer educators even further, and you can help by sponsoring one to reach new heights.
