Sad how he is being judged not by his ability but by his status which the government is pulling strings to manipulate. Is this the country we want where people are turned in for this or that? Why do you hate this guy? How was he hurting anyone? Seems to me he was doing his best to motivate children and expand their access to educational resources. I don’t know why we would want to remove someone like that.

🚨 BREAKING: Des Moines Public Schools Chair Jackie Norris has confirmed that Superintendent Ian Roberts failed to provide proof he was legally eligible to work for the district — and the board has now moved to accept his resignation. Norris: “He did not provide the board with the information we requested. The school board made the difficult but right decision given the circumstances.” The red flags were obvious from the start. The board ignored them and hired him anyway. This isn’t just a mistake — it’s dereliction of duty. The entire board should resign in shame. h/t @IowaPulse

@garyblack00 I'm confused and am truly asking. Did you think he wasn't a person of his word? He totally said he was going to do it. This is just him keeping his word. Shouldn't he keep his word?

Yeah, I voted for Trump but I never thought he’d be so foolish to actually move forward with 25% tariffs given the well-documented history of how the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act of 1930 triggered the onset of the Great Depression as global trade flows dried up.

And with FULL knowledge that the 45th president is advancing a lie, this governor is STILL supporting him. That says more about the governor than it does the former president. youtu.be/iGyhrRV5Yw4?si…

He's free to say whatever he wants, albeit unfounded & dangerous. The bigger question is why ppl are so willing to believe him to the point jd vance defends amplifying false claims about immigrants, saying \"you're never going to get this stuff perfect\" cbsnews.com/news/jd-vance-…

New sensory experiences “light up” your child’s developing brain. I just love this video, which has gone viral in recent days, of a toddler being exposed for the first time to a new and fascinating sound: a violin being played by a street performer in Valencia. It’s almost as if he’s drawn by a magnet to the sound and performer - joyfully waving his hands as he wobbles his way over to get a closer look. New sensory experiences activate the brain’s neural networks and help to create and strengthen their pathways. But I also want to spotlight something special the violinist does: Noticing her little admirer, she not only turns to face him, but crouches down to meet him at eye level - allowing him a better vantage point on the whole situation. Not only is this a strategy parents should employ as much as possible, but it’s a great marker of early childhood classroom quality. Looking for an amazing infant-toddler teacher? One really committed to optimizing your child’s early development? Be on the lookout for those who spend their days down on the floor, interacting directly with children face-to-face at eye level. This lovely interaction comes via reh_violin on TT.

@acnewsitics The fact that this person believes it's okay to disparage someone's child says EVERYTHING abt their character. Karma is a real thing! He will reap what he's sown. It doesn't matter that he calls himself a Christian; it matters whether Jesus would.

Bedtime stories are rich with learning opportunities. First, reading aloud to your little one daily is a fantastic vocabulary builder. Stories offer up a wide array of language - including words you may be less likely to use during your regular day-to-day interactions. Infants who are read to daily demonstrate a 40% greater vocabulary at 18-months. Want to give your baby a head start? You could hardly choose a better way than daily reading. And just look at what this little one knows about how books work. She’s an expert page turner, and is learning that we turn only one at a time. But my very favorite part of this video is how our hero splits her attention between the book and dad’s face. His reading voice is a little different from his regular speaking voice as he matches the author’s words and cadence, and she’s fascinated to see just how he’s doing it. Read, talk and sing with your baby. The dividends will amaze you - and set them up for a lifetime of success. This fantastic video was shared to IG by mylittlemissameliaa.

My son, 15, just explained the all school assembly was about the NEW online bathroom pass. A 6 minute bathroom pass, tracker, via Chromebook or mobile phone. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Also, every teacher has a Remind for every class. The phones are the problem. Well so are decision makers. @JonHaidt
