Here's another undocumented tornado from last year! This tornado occurred in a marsh in far W Russia (48.810001, 133.928339), N of Vladivostok at 7:00 UTC on August 3rd, 2025. It left many cycloidal marks and caused some damage to the tree groves nearby. Solid EF2 candidate.

Three more tornadoes from 2025 have been confirmed, bringing the total count to 31. This includes the Biebertal, HE case (IF1.5), which I consider to be the weirdest tornado I‘ve ever surveyed. Other two confirmed tornadoes are Herrenberg, BW (IF0) and Buxheim, BY (IF0.5).

rather suspicious radar signature over Düsseldorf, Germany a few moments ago. the rotation started near Meerbusch and continued until near Vennhausen.

@Sekai_WX There are more paths 70km NNW (59°31'57.12"N 58° 7'48.22"E), not from the same day but sometime before 1983.

This is the largest scar I've found yet. It's at 58 degrees N, and it's over a half mile wide. Central Russia again. Coords: 58.9541, 58.5295 Date: August 15th, 2003 Movement direction: NE Notes: MAJOR tor. EF3+. Note the occlusional curve at the end. Storm briefly recycled.

Belated anniversary post: An exceptionally rare December SigTor struck Cologne and adjacent areas in 2023. The IF2 tracked 23.1 km (14.4 mi), damaging hundreds of structures as it came within half a mile of my house. I surveyed some of the damage a week later.

@GerWeather One event that came to my mind is Hesston, Kansas, March 13th 1990. There even is a video of the tornadoes being on the ground at the same time.

Random thought: Has there ever been a supercell that produced two or more seperate (E)F5 tornadoes?

@severeweatherEU @Sekai_WX I don't think this was caused by a tornado either, should have something to do with the geology or vegetation itself.

@Sekai_WX Are you sure those "scars" aren't just the canyon between the hills around? Interesting, tho.

I might have just found a tornado scar in far northern Canada, next to Alaska. Coordinates are 63.5251, -139.4607. Google Earth Imagery shows some trees that have lost leaves but haven't been felled, so a weak tornado is possible. The scar appears in 2024 and is in a valley.

@225MPH_EF4 @Sekai_WX You would be suprised at the amout you can find just by looking at random areas on Google Earth.

@Sekai_WX Do you just scan random sat imagery because your consistency in finding these scars are insane

@Sekai_WX Good find! 90-100% blowdown of what looks like pine/spruce trees would only warrant a max. rating of IF1.5-IF2 though.

I found an undocumented tornado scar in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Date: 2020/08/04 at 14:00-14:30 UTC Coords: 44.028894653471916, 16.790834703262792 Probably a high-EF2 to low-EF3, especially near the end of its life.

@PavanFederico00 These cases are the worst, I've had the problem countless times.

Quite the forest scar for an uncertain event on the Lazio Apennines back on August 22nd. We do have a Google Earth image as well for it, but the quality and the lighting suck, so it's not much useful. I suspect this to be SLW damage, but it *could* be a tornado
