So proud and honored to be named by @madison_365 as one of Wisconsin’s Most Influential Black Leaders in 2023. To my family, mentors, @WisDems & community members who helped me throughout my career; thank you for always believing me. madison365.com/wisconsins-51-…

I agree now seems like a pretty good time to remind everyone that with @DavidCCrowley as Milwaukee County Executive we have always had a surplus. Yes Tom that means he’s more qualified than you’ll ever be to be Governor.
Tom Tiffany@TomTiffanyWI

Now seems like a pretty good time to remind everyone that @DavidCCrowley just hired the Milwaukee Public Schools budget leader to run Milwaukee County’s budget office. This is the same MPS budget leader who oversaw the district going $46 million over budget last school year.

Patiently waiting for these “Tax Payer Associations” to sue the Trump Admin over his billion dollar settlement for his Jan 6 friends. If forgiving student loans was so bad to them, surely this should be too…..

Black Student Unions began in the 1960s to build community, honor our history, and fight racism—helping shape the Civil Rights Movement. For Rep. Tom Tiffany to call them “un-American” and for them to “DIE” shows disregard for Black people, our history, and our country’s progress

Funny how he is running on eliminating government waste, but continuously pushes us to spend millions of taxpayer dollars auditing over a conspiracy theory that continues to be proven false.

NEW: GOP candidate for governor Tom Tiffany on Monday would not say whether Joe Biden won Wisconsin's 2020 election fairly. He said FBI agents should continue to question election officials over the 2020 election and bring charges if FBI deems it necessary. jsonline.com/story/news/pol… via @hopekarnopp and me

Republicans have controlled Congress most of the last 30 years, yet keep claiming elections are rigged—and always push to change the rules. They clearly are the masters of gaslighting America.

Who’s going to tell him Republicans have controlled the Wisconsin State Legislature for more than 15 years?
Bing/Bong 🇺🇸@ClownColl3ge

@LiberalStallion We’re sick of business as usual, that’s why we’re going to elect a Republican.

We should stop including the population of prisons when drawing legislative districts. If inmates can’t vote, then the communities with prisons shouldn’t benefit from extra representation. Instead they should be counted from the communities they are from.

Oh no, so scary! Democrats want people to have affordable healthcare and to afford healthy food at grocery stores. Oh, the humanity! What will we do without food deserts and high prices?
WisPolitics (State Affairs Pro Wisco)@WisPolitics

Two top @WisGOP lawmakers today warned party activists that a @WisDems trifecta could lead to a top #incometax 💰 rate of more than 17%, a single-payer #healthsystem and government-run 🥦 #grocery stores. @SenatorTestin and @RepTonyKurtz, both members of the Joint Finance Committee, pointed to legislation co-sponsored this session by Rep. @FrancescaHongWI, a Dem candidate for governor. pro.stateaffairs.com/wi/news/kurtz-…

@TomTiffanyWI @GovEvers Can you read? Clearly that’s what your party wanted in order to agree to finally fund public education. Three Senate Republicans voted no because they only wanted it to be direct checks, not fund public education.

So now @GovEvers’ staff is admitting he never wanted taxpayers to get ANY of their money back. He “only agreed” to a $300 rebate because he thought it would sway votes. I will return the FULL surplus to you, not just a fraction.

@joeminocqua @realchadenhart You’re right math can be a challenge because the Senate Majority Leader (R) couldn’t count 17 votes. So that means he should negotiate to get Dem votes. Did he? Clearly not. Your logic only makes sense if all senators were negotiating the bill, we know that’s not true.

@LiberalStallion @realchadenhart Math can be a challenge, but a bill gets defeated when more people vote 'no' than 'yes.' You are free to claim the three killed it, but again math would suggest it was both the 15 and the 3 (that's a total of 18) that killed it.

@joeminocqua @realchadenhart You do realize there are two chambers in the legislature? And you do know that 2 republicans in the senate were the ones who killed the bill? If they didn’t have the votes they should have negotiated with their colleagues even if they are dems.

@realchadenhart Well, that's a novel (and un-democratic) concept. For most of the history of this nation it has been understood that when a bill fails, it is because of the people who voted "no." And I'm sure our Governor will be surprised to learn he was not involved in crafting.

Without relief checks, low-income residents & seniors would suffer, and a $2.9B deficit could’ve slashed BadgerCare & SNAP. Calling Dems opposed “selfish” while our most vulnerable were about to be hit hardest makes me question if you would protect them as our Dem nominee for Gov
