Dan O’Donnell’s remarks to “take out” Governor Tim Walz are not commentary or satire. They’re dangerous.  There is no version of political disagreement that justifies violence. Regardless of party or policy, the safety of elected leaders and our families is non-negotiable. There needs to be accountability because the rhetoric on our airwaves matters. The cycle of political violence will only end when we stop tolerating the conditions that allow it to grow.

Coming from the guy who only passed Governor Evers maps because the State Supreme Court ideology flipped. If it wasn’t for the people of our state forcing his hand, we would still have ultra gerrymandered maps favoring republicans. That one sentence is needed!
