I asked Sec. Zeldin if he ever met with Bayer/Monsanto about their legal issues on glyphosate.
He said “No, I never did.” Then, “my mtg was very brief.”

I promise you, Ro Khanna, my daughter was scared when she was forced to take her last breath. I was not there to hold her as she slipped away. For years, Americans were told about “robust vetting” and “screening.” My family learned the cost of those false assurances when an illegal immigrant, driving intoxicated and in this country unlawfully, killed my daughter under the very policies you champion and still defend. Oh, and he got a release date — because of course he did. Katie got the grave. Katie’s family got a life sentence of grief while he got another chance. Your one-sided hyperbolic rhetoric would fit right in with J.B. Pritzker, his allies and the Illinois media that protects him. How far we have fallen when men like you are treated as moral leaders while families like mine are left with graves, not justice. Bang-up job sir!

Amanda Leigh Fourez, a U.S. citizen from Illinois, paid thousands of dollars to have others make sexual torture videos involving adult and baby monkeys for people in deranged online chat groups.
Known as “animal crush videos,” they show real monkeys being burned alive and having their genitals mutilated.
She pleaded guilty April 15 following an ICE @HSINewOrleans and FBI joint investigation.

I live in a dark blue state, and I know I shouldn’t be shocked, but I was in mixed company with casual acquaintances, and one of them made a comment about “what happened Saturday“ and expressed disappointment… At first I didn’t realize what they were talking about, but then the person repeated it and then a couple other people in the group nodded approvingly and made approving comments, and I realized that it’s actually an extremely mainstream view amongst Democrats that Donald Trump should be assassinated and killed

I experienced this at a fundraiser for an LGBTQ youth center. It was Trump’s first term and I was standing in a group of people talking about the transgender military ban on stage. The guy next to me literally shouted out ‘kill him!’ Some people laughed but overall a hush went over most of the room.
For months after that I was in and around this person and never looked at him the same way but it seemed like everyone else just carried on.
Recently, I read in local news he was arrested for making online threats against the President.
When they tell you who they are believe them.

The DeSantis Dummymander blatantly violates Florida’s Fair Districts Amendment banning partisan gerrymandering.

I know it's a religious-type need to believe your own side's rhetoric is restrained, polite, muted and respectful while the other side's is violent, murderous and dangerous, so I understand why this provokes rage.

No, it’s not really ironic at all. It’s just one of the hubs where tri-state area liberals descended to, including DJT in the 1980s. He bought a beautiful estate, Mar a Lago, that was in ruins at the time and changed ‘the island’ of Palm Beach forever by making it more inclusive. Jews, blacks and other previously marginalized people were welcomed at the historical estate.
