@CarrieTait @JohnHenryCanada @mattscace67 Of course the UCP, straddling the fence so no matter which way it goes they can be the leader. This party has no ABns interests at heart, only their own and their blind ambition of feeding off the taxpayer dime
English

The United Conservative Party supports neither Alberta Premier Danielle Smith's pro-Canada campaign nor the push for separatism, according to the party president theglobeandmail.com/canada/alberta… w @mattscace67
English

@cspotweet @JasonOnTheDrums She’s done a lot of things that she wasn’t on her platform …APP; provincial police force; private health care; halal loans; propping up private education
English

"Did (Albertans) vote for this last provincial election? No, they didn't, it wasn't on the ballot paper, it wasn't in the mandates or platforms of the governing party..."
PM Mark Carney says a separatist question on a question isn't helpful to the economy, that it wasn't part of the UCP's election platform- joking that Premier Smith doesn't always take his advice.
English

@CarrieTait @TuThanhHa Good! Hopefully the truth will well get exposed. Tired of corrupt politicians playing citizens

@Mattl8241 @cspotweet It’s based on the number of electors not how many actually voted. Once again, look at the actual petition conditions
English

@Mattl8241 @cspotweet So 20% is…. Maybe pull your calculator out. @LukaszukAB did not get the 20% for the referendum request. He chose the legislative option at the 10% level. Facts are hard hey?
English

@Mattl8241 @cspotweet He needed 293,976 verified signatures to meet the 10% so 20% …..isn’t 355,463
English

@Lifequeste @cspotweet Also 20% of the last provincial election is 355,463, so he would of gotten that
English

@Mattl8241 @cspotweet He chose the legislative option and because he was under the old rules he wouldn’t have had enough signatures for the referendum option. Signature thresholds are different
English

@Lifequeste @cspotweet That doesnt even make sense because he picked before they started canvassing. Also the amount of signatures they got would break the 20% mark as well
English

@keddieff He said conflicting things on the matter. There is video to prove it. So, it's likely at least some signed for a referendum. But how many? Another unknown here.
English

@WitterQuicks @braggadoe @sarobertson_ Lukascyk didn’t have the signatures for a referendum so @ABDanielleSmith lies again
English

David Cochrane: The Canada Forever initiative though was started as a preventative measure against the separatism referendum. So I don't know if you can really use that 400k as people clamouring for a referendum
Danielle Smith: Well I know that the proponents are trying to rewrite history on that
English

@TheBreakdownAB @JasonOnTheDrums It would be good if some journalists didn’t hold her feet to the fire with the outlandish claims she makes. She seems to get a free pass on whatever bs she spews
English

A letter sent at the end of April this year is responsible for the separatist movement.
We’ve reached the throwing spaghetti at the wall stage folks.

Courtney Theriault@cspotweet
Premier Smith asked is she bears blame for separation situation. She says the 14 Liberals who wrote a letter against the MOU, Avi Lewis and Dave Eby are to blame for the separatist movement in Alberta.

Alberta’s Cabinet Shuffle: Loyalty Over Competence?
Premier Danielle Smith’s latest cabinet shuffle has created one of the largest cabinets in Alberta’s history — 27 ministers (including associate ministers), representing over 57% of the UCP caucus.
This bloated government structure comes at a significant cost to Alberta taxpayers:
· 27 Cabinet Ministers: MLA base salary ~$123,838 + Minister stipend ~$61,919 = ~$185,757 each
· ~25–30 Deputy Ministers (appointed, not elected senior public servants): $320,394 each
That’s roughly $8–9.5 million per year in base salaries for Deputy Ministers alone — before benefits, support staff, and expenses.
When cabinet positions appear to be awarded based on loyalty rather than competence and results, Albertans have every right to ask: Are we getting value for money?
Albertans deserve a lean, efficient, and competent government focused on affordability, healthcare, education, and jobs — not an oversized team of loyalists and highly paid appointed officials.
Facts matter. Taxpayer accountability matters.
What are your thoughts on the size and cost of government in Alberta? (Waste of our taxpayer funds)

@cspotweet All she wants is power. It doesn’t matter who is underneath her as long as she’s the Queen
English

@subceng @cspotweet @ThisIsMeCassie Nenshi had nothing to do with this mess.
And I’m not your sweetheart, you’ll find her in the trailer park
English

@Lifequeste @cspotweet @ThisIsMeCassie You mind is perpetually numb, sweetheart
Nenshi is calling.
He needs his ass sucked again.
