This war has really
opened my eyes to something:
a lot of people in Japan, America, Europe,
& other countries have no clue what real
Islam actually is.
We Arabs from the Arabian Peninsula and the Gulf the original heart of Islam don’t
tolerate extremists in our countries.
Our societies are genuinely tolerant.
We welcome people from all
backgrounds whether they’re different
in race or religion.
It’s never been an issue for us.
The real hardliners and extremists run
away from our region and head straight
to Europe, America, Japan, & places like
that. They take advantage of your
freedom of speech in the worst way
possible and try to tear down your
customs, your culture, & your way of life.
Sadly, you keep giving them that space
& then later you blame Islam for the mess
These people don’t
represent Islam at all. What they
carry is a harsh, twisted ideology mixed
with their own backward cultural habits
from back home none of it has anything
to do with us!
So please, stand strong against
political Islam and groups like the
Muslim Brotherhood, Hezbollah,
and all the other extremists.
Come visit the UAE, Dubai, & the Gulf.
See for yourselves who the real Arabs
and real Muslims are !

@Driskal How someone can stand in front of a camera looking proud after that is beyond me. This isn’t the mark of good character. I guess we’ll all find out soon enough what’s really behind it $$… nothing to see here, folks. 🤡

She literally reposted that tweet 2 weeks ago!!

@MarilynGladuSL You unethical POS!

@Reil76 Call it what you want, it still doesn’t reflect how most Canadians vote. People often hold their nose and back the party that best aligns with their values. When a rep switches sides after being elected, it raises serious questions about whose interests they’re really serving.
English

If floor crossing truly went against democracy, we would not be voting for individual MPs at all, we would be voting only for parties.
In Canada, we elect a local representative in each riding, not a fixed seat for a political party. That means the person elected is the MP, and they are accountable to their constituents, not permanently bound to a party label.
When an MP chooses to cross the floor, the election result is not cancelled, and no votes are erased. The same elected representative continues to serve the same riding. What changes is the party they sit with in Parliament, not the fact that they were chosen by voters.
If democracy meant locking MPs to a party forever, then voters would have no real choice beyond selecting a party list. That is not how Canada’s system works.
Floor crossing can be controversial, but it exists because MPs are elected as individuals within a parliamentary democracy where accountability happens at the ballot box, not through party handcuffs mid term.

@always_vote @MarilynGladuSL @NDP And then there was this...
NDP MP Lori Idlout crosses floor to Liberals
globalnews.ca/news/11725093/…
English

@edgarfkane @MarilynGladuSL If you don't believe in floor crossing you really should vote @NDP since that is the only #cdnpoli party that has literally banned floor crossing for its members of Parliament. It's in the NDP constitution.
English
@EdgarFKane retweetledi

The Liberals are buying their way to a majority one seat at a time. Gladu is the 5th MP to cross the floor since the 2025 election, handing the Carney government more power without a single new vote from the public. Democracy should happen at the ballot box, not through caucus hopping.

@always_vote @MarilynGladuSL You’re completely wrong. Crossing the floor is one of the most undemocratic moves a politician can make. In Canada, people usually vote for the party, not just the individual candidate and I’m sure you do the same. Spare me the ignorance and judgment.
English

@edgarfkane @MarilynGladuSL If it was a Liberal or NDP MP crossing the floor to the Conservatives, you would not be saying this. Try not to be a hypocrite. I know it's hard. #cdnpoli

The Liberal finance minister claims he recused himself in September 2025 of the $90 billion Alto project, for which his wife is the vice president.
Yet here he is promoting the project in Senate testimony 6 months later. And here he is voting for it in the House of Commons. There it is in the budget he presented. And there is no recusal record on the Ethics Commissioner’s website.
Nothing adds up.
$90 billion is at stake.
Tell the truth, Minister.

François-Philippe Champagne’s @FP_Champagne Brother Ran a Hells Angels Meth Lab While He Climbed to Finance Minister, and the Media Buried It All to Protect Liberal Elite Scum thedaily.ca/francois-phili…
The brother of the finance minister, Francois-Philippe Champagne, owned a property that police raided in two thousand eight during project carapace, as part of the larger operation sharqc targeting hells angels organized crime networks in quebec. Officers discovered thirty four thousand methamphetamine tablets, along with chemicals capable of producing twenty thousand more doses, a pill press, thousands of grams of hashish and cannabis, a prohibited nine millimeter pistol, and approximately fifty thousand dollars in cash hidden at the site. Surveillance footage and observations confirmed that Guillaume Champagne visited the location at least six times over four months, while vehicles connected to the family business appeared there as well. The property served as a methamphetamine laboratory with direct links to known hells angels associates, including one member from trois rivieres and another close collaborator who frequented the house. Guillaume Champagne faced eleven serious charges, including production and possession of drugs for the benefit of a criminal organization, yet he maintained no prior record at the time.
The case dragged on for years until two thousand thirteen, when crown prosecutors suddenly announced they had no further evidence to present, resulting in a complete acquittal without any preliminary inquiry or full trial ever taking place. The judge overseeing related proceedings noted contradictory elements in the police file, while the director of criminal and penal prosecutions refused to provide any detailed public explanation for dropping the matter. Court testimony from Guillaume Champagne lawyer revealed a deliberate strategy of delay and negotiation that positioned the accused as the last man standing after many co accused benefited from stays of proceedings amid widespread failures in the sharqc operation. This convenient resolution occurred precisely as Francois-Philippe Champagne prepared to launch his federal political career in the saint maurice champlain riding, raising serious questions about potential influence or special treatment for a prominent shawinigan family. The family business bionest technologies, with international ties and local prominence, appeared intertwined with the events through vehicle sightings and Guillaume Champagne role as vice president, adding to perceptions of protected insiders evading accountability.
Mainstream english language media across canada has maintained near total silence on these facts for nearly a decade, allowing Francois-Philippe Champagne to ascend through multiple cabinet positions, including foreign affairs, innovation science industry, and now finance, without facing meaningful scrutiny over his brother Guillaume Champagne documented connections to a hells angels linked drug operation. Operation sharqc itself collapsed in spectacular fashion, with the majority of one hundred fifty six accused walking free or receiving reduced sentences due to prosecutorial delays, evidence withholding, and procedural disasters that wasted tens of millions in taxpayer dollars while empowering the very biker gang it aimed to dismantle. Francois-Philippe Champagne has never publicly addressed the scandal in any substantive way, leaving canadians to wonder why such a damaging family association receives protection from journalistic oversight that would never apply to opponents. This pattern of quiet resolution and media avoidance exposes deep rot in liberal circles, where connections appear to shield the powerful from consequences that ordinary citizens would suffer. The entire episode reeks of favoritism and elite impunity at the highest levels of government.

As an Iranian who stayed connected through Starlink during the total internet blackout, I want to wholeheartedly confirm what President Trump just said:
"The Iranian people want to be free. They have lived in a world that you know NOTHING about."
For 47 years, my people have endured systematic torture, rape, murder, humiliation, anxiety, suppression, and grief under the Islamic Republic. It’s been a long, grinding suffering — punctuated by brutal spikes like the January protests, mass executions, and now war. The world has no idea of the scale or depth of these horrors. Only when this evil regime finally falls will the full truth pour out — in quality and quantity that will shock humanity.
We have now reached a point where almost no cost is too great if it rids us of this regime. Because the cost of it staying in power is infinitely higher.
If you’re reading this and you can’t understand how any Iranian could feel relief at their own country losing a war and getting bombed… I envy you. You have never lived what we have lived. You have never watched your people, friends, family, and loved ones get tortured, raped, or killed almost daily and over half a century. You have never seen an entire nation slowly but brutally suffocated like this.
We tried every alternative imaginable: massive protests, dissent, peaceful reform, negotiations — everything. None of it worked. The regime’s answer has always been bullets, gallows, and more terror.
Now, less than 24 hours before Trump’s deadline, I write this with a heavy heart from inside Iran:
Whatever happens next — if there is still an Iran left to save and this regime is gone — the Iranian people will be happy with the result. No matter the cost. Because the cost of the regime remaining is higher, and for many of us, death itself is preferable to another day under this nightmare.
This is the true sentiment of the majority of Iranians — the voice of a people who often have no internet, no platform, and no way to be heard.
The world will soon understand why we say:
Anything to be free. Anything to end this evil.

‼️ History Lesson
In 2008, police raided a property owned by Guillaume Champagne and found a Hells Angels meth lab.
34,000 pills. A pill press. $50K in cash.
He was charged with conspiracy alongside a Hells Angels member.
Then it all disappeared.
“Negotiated acquittal.”
No trial.
Reasons sealed.
His brother?
François-Philippe Champagne.
The current Finance Minister.
He was getting ready to enter politics at the time.
The media never asks about this.
Ever.
