Um. No. Tony Gilroy was, by his own admission, a “Star Wars” novice, and he ended up running circles around the guy who showran “Clone Wars” and “Rebels.”

It's really a testament to George's ability to keep things fresh that when the time came to show a Star Wars gladiator pit, we got three brand new monsters with distinct, striking designs. Come Disney, and it's "DOOOOD, WHAT IF THE CHESS PIECES, FROM STAR WARS, WERE REAL?!?!?!?"
