@senatorbabet Lol, so reproductive isolation prevents humans from breeding with other Earth-born creatures, yet somehow we can cross-breed with an interstellar civilization with almost certainly completely alien biology? GTFO 🤡

If I don’t hear from @RobinhoodApp by end of day today I’m filing formal complaints with the FTC, CFPB, and my state Division of Consumer Protection. It’s been 6 days since Robinhood sent me the Grand Prize email and their own support team confirmed it. 4 days since @vladtenev said he was looking into this. Still haven’t heard a word from anyone at Robinhood. No emails. No DMs. Nothing. I will also engage legal counsel to review my case. The deadline from their own terms has passed and nobody has reached out. $HOOD @RobinhoodApp @vladtenev @AskRobinhood

My high school neighbourhood just elected a local 59yo councilwoman who campaigned in the local paper with an AI photo. Her statement: ‘I used an internet program to enhance the image because the resolution of the photo was bad. It’s simply my photo, that really is me. I use medication that’s why I look a bit different now. But yes, I do look much younger than my age. When I’m out with my son people think I’m his girlfriend. I hear that I look super young for my age all the time.’

Over the next decade, NASA will spend $20 billion (£15 billion) constructing a permanent outpost on the Moon. This is what the UK spend on foreign aid in 2023 - one single year. We could have had the stars.

My son recently had a cavity. Took him to the dentist, who extracted it. That dentist visit cost $2400. My insurance covered $250, so we owe $2,150 out of pocket. I pay $612/month for family dental and health insurance. Something seems broken.

DeFi risk often doesn't compensate the reward. I’ve been testing @VaultHopper (built by @0xjuaan). It’s a great tool because you can jump between vaults without moving liquidity manually. But even with good tools, you must analyze the risk. Right now, some vaults show +20% APY. Why? Because they are labeled as "unsafe." People are withdrawing (or trying to) due to the @ResolvLabs situation. If you look at the history: > Reserve USDC was paying only 4%. > ClearStar Yield USDC was paying around 5%. Is it worth risking your principal for a 5% yield? Compare that to BOLD (from @LiquityProtocol). It is fully decentralized, immutable, and resilient. Since July, it has paid an average of 6.25%. You earn from CDP borrowers and liquidations. No third parties. It might seem like a "lower" yield but it’s double what Treasury bonds pay. Sometimes, earning a bit less but with real decentralization is the only way to play this game.

No shit sherlock 🤣 So we should allow councils and companies to get away with shit like this just because we pay the settlement if they get caught and sued for it...? 🤨 I don't care if my taxes go to the lad. It's better than the local council wasting money on shit like they have done for like the last 20 years or more 🤨

🚨DISABLED LAD WORKS 9 MONTHS FOR FREE AS BINMAN INTERN COUNCIL STILL REJECTS HIM TWICE! 21-year-old Bryan Rowe from Southampton has myotonic dystrophy and ADHD. He completed a full nine-month unpaid supported internship as a refuse loader for the council, turning up on time and loving every shift. He applied for the actual paid binman job twice, and was turned down both times after interviews. Heartbroken, Bryan told his mum: “I’m not good enough to get anything, not even a binman job.” A spokesman for the council said: 'Southampton City Council is committed to fair, inclusive and transparent recruitment processes. 'We are unable to comment on individual applications or personal circumstances, but recruitment decisions are made through formal interview processes which are reviewed to ensure they are fair and equitable, with appropriate involvement from HR. 'The council continues to keep its recruitment practices under review to ensure they are as inclusive and accessible as possible.' Britain 2026: even bin rounds are out of reach for disabled kids who actually want to work! Poor Bryan 🥹
