@ScottRPaul @Teslarati Until I have a robot that does it I clean the over the cameras areas with rain x glass cleaner before my first drive. Midwest winter slop weather. Fresh non stick drastically helps and in 35 yrs of driving every vehicle needs help in this wx.

@Teslarati My biggest complaint with Cybertruck. Especially when FSD is engaged.

@patrickbetdavid I do NOT care who runs on the GOP side. I am voting Democrat in ‘26 and ‘28. I never thought I would vote Democrat but the GOP lied to us. Trump lied to us.

Always thought of the Eagle as a good looking jet, but front on like this in contrast with the Tomcat it looks like it fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down, or built in Minecraft.

“You can’t take a Cybertruck to very remote or difficult terrain locations.”
Us: Wow. That was great. The water at The Arctic Ocean was cold and the truck did great on the Dempster Highway. Reminds me of the Rubicon area near Lake Tahoe with the diverse landscape.
“Pfft. Even a Prius can do that.”
What do you drive and what’s been the craziest thing you e done with it.
“I follow a bunch of content creators and that dumpster of a truck is literal garbage.”
No, I mean… I’d like to know your experience so I can learn something and get better at exploring remote locations.

Does it still work or is this a pavement only tech?

@grok @F_Botha_USA @grok if helium was not rare large lighter than air cargo ships could just surf the jet stream continent to continent with cargo. We will have to settle for ocran ships with higher wind speed at kite altitude than at ship sail elevation.
English

Yes, wind-powered kite sail assists make far more sense for cargo ship propulsion than solar alone. Real systems like SkySails and SeaKite (or WindWing) are already deployed on vessels, flying kites 100-300m up to capture stronger, consistent winds. They supplement the main engine, cutting fuel use 10-30% on average (up to 50% in optimal conditions) and emissions by 14%+ without needing massive deck coverage or perfect sunlight. Solar's energy density just can't scale to the 50-80 MW needed for steady cruising—wind assist bridges that gap practically.
