De dooddoener is dat de wolf goed is voor de biodiversiteit. Niemand heeft mij tot nu toe kunnen uitleggen wat aan die biodiversiteit is verbeterd door de wolf. Er is maar één soort bijgekomen op de biodiversiteitsladder en die soort is de ondergang van vele andere soorten. Dat begint bij grazers. Doordat die ophouden te grazen in de open gebieden, lopen die gebieden vol met bomen en gaan andere soorten die in die open gebieden leven, zowel flora als fauna, verloren. Dat is heel ernstig. De wolven pakken ook andere beesten: vogels en alles wat ze tegenkomen – ook beschermde soorten. En het kan niemand zijn ontgaan dat ze schade aan vee veroorzaken. Als er weer opengereten schapen of koeien worden aangetroffen, wordt van de boer een dader gemaakt omdat die zijn zaken zogenaamd niet voor elkaar heeft – het is de omgekeerde wereld. Je kunt niet heel Nederland hermetisch afrasteren, want daar hebben andere beesten ook last van. Reeën, dassen, vossen, marters, hazen kunnen er dan ook niet meer langs. Willen we dat dan, voor dat ene beest? Bij ons is nu aantoonbaar een ecologische ramp gaande. Onze biodiversiteit raakt ernstig verstoord door de wolf. En dat is mijn grootste bezwaar tegen de wolf in Nederland: het is niet goed voor de natuur. Als de wolf ons van het overschot aan herten en varkens afhelpt, prima; dan hoeven wij dat niet meer te doen en kunnen we goed met de wolf leven. Maar het probleem is: die wolf kent geen ondergrens. En selecteert ook niet. Hij roeit de boel gewoon uit. Dat noem ik geen biodiversiteit. Integendeel, er ontstaat schade aan de natuur, want het evenwicht raakt verstoord. We weten daarnaast helemaal niet of die wolven raszuiver zijn. Van één wolf weten we dat het een kruising is. Zijn het wel 100% wolven, of hebben we hier te maken met hondswolven? Dan moet je ze helemaal niet meer beschermen. Het ongemoeid laten van de wolf krijgt ook andere grote gevolgen. Op de Veluwe en in Drenthe durven ouders hun kinderen niet meer in het halfdonker naar school te laten fietsen. Dat zou ik ook niet doen. De openbare orde komt in het geding omdat de wolf te dicht bij de mensen komt. Dat kan zeker een keer fout gaan. De kans is niet heel groot, want wolven vallen niet gauw mensen aan. Maar de angst zal het toerisme een grote klap toebrengen. Mensen komen niet meer naar de natuurparken als er wolven rondlopen. Wolven zijn ons park binnengekomen nadat er op grote schaal afrasteringen zijn doorgeknipt. Zie wat de wolf aanricht in ons park. Ze hebben in een jaar tijd alle driehonderd moeflons en de tweehonderd reeën uitgeroeid en nu zijn ze met de herten bezig. Een deel is opgegeten, een deel laten ze halfdood achter. We hebben de Provincie gevraagd om de wolven te mogen verwijderen – vangen of schieten. Na een half jaar wachten kwam deze week het antwoord binnen: we moeten de wolf zijn gang laten gaan. Ik vind dat de politiek – zowel de Provincies als het Rijk – ernstig verzaakt in het wolvendossier. Overheden kijken de andere kant op, bang voor die donkergroene militante groepen en schuiven de hete aardappel door naar de rechter. Er is geen beleid. Pas als er morgen een wolvenroedel wordt aangetroffen in het Haagse Bos, dan worden de dames en heren wakker en is het land te klein.

Je kunt me vertrouwen om zelf te betalen of je kassières terug te zetten zoals vroeger. Ik hoef niet te bewijzen dat ik jouw werk heb gedaan. Wil je dat ik kassier word zonder opleiding? Dan is het jouw probleem niet het mijne. Controleer mij niet voor een baan waarvoor je weigert iemand in dienst te nemen. We willen geen robots, we willen mensen!!!
