@GeneralRipper22 Why do you have so much difficulty finding sufficient evidence? Did your mom drop you on your head as a child?

@GeneralRipper22 Given that a substantial number of cell biology labs routinely use viruses - needing them to work precisely how they say - to make generic alterations to cells, tissues and organs, and given that this technology is in use to produce medicines that are proven to work…..

A good example of what the PCR trolls do: try and "blind you with science" and make out they know all this technical detail about the test which you don't, which they can then portray you as not understanding PCR, in order to deter you from criticising it. x.com/TakethatCt/sta…

It’s easy to watch the news and feel overwhelmed or even helpless at everything going on. I need you to fight that feeling. I’m an optimist. You have to be when you strap yourself to a rocket for a living. But there’s real reason to be hopeful this year and l’ll tell you why.

Except there is no overt error, but rather a cacophony of noise from Kev because, in his Autoimmunity paper he failed to notice that you can’t measure DNA concentrations even remotely accurately by dye fluorimetry when there is an excess of RNA in the sample.
Kevin McKernan@Kevin_McKernan

@GiggaMAGA @CarlSmytheCells Carl has zero credibility after getting shown this overt error of his and not owning up to it. Expect more smoke grenades but never can he agree with someone outside his flag tribe being right.

He has decades of commercialized enzymology. Companies he founded based upon that tech and sold for hundreds of millions of dollars. Still waiting on that list of enzymatic systems you’ve engineered or commercialized. Being a tenured professor doesn’t outweigh someone who’s built and sold enzyme-driven biotech platforms at scale. You care about catalytic rates? Excellent, then explain why you ignore the ~500–1000× excess RNase A used in McKernan’s assays (far above NEB’s benchmark for full digestion in under 5 minutes), while Achs used less enzyme and no time-course validation. Funny how “kinetics” only matters when it’s convenient. Either run the assay yourself or stop spraying squid ink. That “risible” line is just cover after being corrected again on CE, Illumina, and Qubit (and yes, fluorescence ≠ luminescence). Still waiting on your actual contribution to the data, not just the commentary. You’re becoming tiresome.

@resilient333 The irony is not lost on me. She was probably killed by the industry to which she had dedicated her working life These cancers which are so rare have made an appearance in the past 3 years.

So your attempt to denigrate a person backfired. It's a simple question that you refuse to even attempt to answer Again Carl, What makes you think a person in his position would even want the downgrade of tenure ? You sound upset that a successful scientists has a higher peer rating than yourself with your tenure 😏
