Good weekend of softball Saturday! Played two great teams went 1-1 as a team. 1st week of softball in the books. It’s been a long off season for me, and I’m just truly excited to be back on the field to help my team. Been hitting the ball hard, finding a rhythm, and enjoying the ride. Hit the ball well in scrimmages, and against some great opponents this week in actual games. Dropped my fist 💣 of the Freshman season today off a D1 commit, and it felt great. I appreciate all the support from my teammates, coaches, and friends to help get me here after having UCL surgery. We had a Hit-A-Thon as a fundraiser for school ball today. The objective was for the ball to be considered a hit out of 50 swings. Had 48 hits, 18 of which were 💣. Excited to even be able to swing, let alone compete. Schedule drop for HS season. First scrimmage on Thursday. Efficiency and patience. Slowly getting into the “swing” of things. Preparing for my upcoming Freshman season and I couldn’t be more excited! I had my first session with @LalondeSoftball in about 4 months felt really good to be out there, and swinging. It feels so good to be back in the cage, getting swings in. Going to PT 3 days a week, and working out 5 days a week, I was able to start swinging the bat again this week. I’m going to keep working hard to be better than I was before. Recovery is tough, but I’m pushing through.

Phase 1 done! So glad to be out of that sling and able to move my arm more freely now! Now onto physical therapy! Excited to be able to get back into doing something! It’s going to be hard, but definitely a challenge I’m willing to take on!

Just a quick little update, tomorrow, I will be having surgery to repair my UCL that I partially tore sometime during the summer/fall. I’m determined to hit my rehab as hard as I can in order to be able to contribute for my HS team in the spring and my travel team in the Summer! The goal is to heal up and get stronger. Which I will do! I appreciate everyone’s kind words and motivation up to this point and moving forward. I will be back, and I will be the best version of myself in softball and every other part of my life! 💣

I was living and breathing the sport I love. But now it’s at a pause. I collided with my team mate and tore my ACL. Now it’s surgery tomorrow. It will be a long recovery but I’m going to crush this recovery i’ll come back stronger and faster 💪🏻 @TN_MojoMurnahan

Good weekend in Columbus, OH at the @OhioLasers showcase. Great competition as always! Couldn’t quite find our footing as a team this weekend going 2-3 but we competed in every game! Proud of our team! .667 average on the weekend. 6-9…2 1B, 1 2B, 3 HR, 9 RBI, 2 Sac, 4 BB and an HBP. That gives me 6 💣s this fall and 22 for the year.
