The “leader” of the protest wandering around at 6am absolutely pissed and admitting as much 🤯🤯 This is what was demanding to meet Government this week

I was out in Foynes today for the fuel protest that finished at 1pm, and I just wanted to share a few thoughts. It was a very peaceful gathering with a really strong sense of community. I even bumped into a few relatives out there 🥰 I know there’s been some disruption and frustration around the protests in Limerick, and I completely understand the impact that’s had on people. But what I saw today were ordinary, decent people who are genuinely at their wits’ end — people who feel under real pressure from both national and international issues that are affecting their daily lives. As public representatives and community leaders, it’s our responsibility to listen. We might not be able to fix everything overnight, but we have a duty to do what we can, using whatever influence we have, to help people live better, safer, and healthier lives. Today was a reminder for me of just how important that is.
