Horrific. Israel as a nation has observer status at the council of Europe which calls on all participants to reject the death penalty. Measures like this surely must put that in question.

@mhdksafa Absolute lie. It’s not being applied to 10,000 Palestinian prisoners. It will be applied to those who commit terrorist murder against Israeli civilians. It’s not against international law to apply the death penalty either. Hence why at least 10 other countries do it.

Israel just passed death penalty law for ~10,000 Palestinian prisoners. This violates the Common Article 3 applies to all four Geneva Conventions, but international law clearly doesn't apply to Israel.

Imagine passing a law to only execute Jews to death…? I’m struggling with this ….. I don’t have enough words to describe watching Israeli Jews celebrating a law to execute Palestinians - it made me realise how much I can’t comprehend their propensity for wickedness.

@dlLambo I’m against the death penalty but you may want to look into all the countries that have it. They aren’t sanctioned. Also the law doesn’t only apply to one ethnic group, its applies to terrorists who kill Israeli citizens.

Genuine question. How can the EU not fully cut off Israel and sanction them now? They've brought in a law that is without precedent and is indefensible. A cruel, barbaric racist law to murder one ethnic group. Surely this IS the red line?

Why is everyone losing their mind about Israel voting on the death penalty for terrorism? Nearly everyone in the region has the death penalty for terrorism, including the Palestinians. Once again, we see the world has one set of rules for Israel and another for everyone else.
