Canada will temporarily suspend certain immigration documents for residents of DR Congo, Uganda, and South Sudan due to the Ebola outbreak. The 90-day measure begins May 27 at 11:59 p.m. EDT and affects approved temporary resident visas, electronic travel authorizations, and permanent resident visas. Affected travellers will not be allowed to travel to Canada during the suspension period. Applications from residents of the affected countries will also be paused.
