My boyfriend opened two of the First Partner Collection boxes & FINALLY pulled the Mega Charizard 😭

@PokeHEX5555 Managed to acquire 3 to rip and a case to hold.

First Partner Series cards for the 30th Anniversary are beautiful. I think the sealed Box will be a GREAT long term hold years from now. In the Short term, a lot of these were printed, I would be patient in acquiring them. I don't think these will EVER get reprinted though.

There is a lot of opportunity in the TCG space right now. Most people just aren’t connected. I’m starting a small group to change that. Reply if you want in.

Starting to build up my AH position Mainly focusing on ETBs at 100$ Will DCA if price drops below 90$ Ascended Heroes will most likely get the Prismatic treatment but buying PE at 100$ ended up being a great play AH and PE are in the same tier for long term growth so this entry point is comfortable for me to begin scaling

@nixeniego I'm a big believer in selling anything you don't want to keep and buying what you do. That way if it doesn't appreciate - it doesn't really matter.

Not really a fan of Charizard, but still torn on whether I should sell this now, or let my future kid decide in 20 years when it magically costs $1,000+ each. 😂😂

I've been into Pokemon since I was a little kid. I played the TCG at a very young age. Had all the cards from the late 90s to 2002s~. Sadly, we moved houses multiple times over the years and my collection got lost in one of the moving trucks. I was so devastated then but couldn't do anything about it. I don't have any vintage collection to flex right now, but I've slowly been rebuilding and growing a collection now. This time, I'm focusing on Pokemon cards I actually LIKE. I think it's never too late to start your Pokemon card collection. And yes, it is a hobby to enjoy—while also a form of investment (if you're strategic and know the cards to target). Tweeting this cause I'm currently making a purchase of vintage cards that secures specifically cards from some of my favorite Pokemon. Will be sharing here once I get them!
