At 11:30am, on Thursday, April 30th, the Senate will proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Resolution #5, S.Res.690, En Bloc Nominations. At 1:45pm, the Senate is expected to proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to discharge from Foreign Relations Committee, S.J.Res.184, Schiff War Powers Resolution (Iran).

Crane (R-AZ) just changed his vote from No to Yes, down to 6 Republicans voting No against the rule.

What is happening right now?
Some *7* (1 no changed) House Republicans are refusing to vote for the Rule unlocking FISA, ICE/DHS budget res., Farm Bill over a host of concerns.
Other way to see this: House GOP leaders have hit the visible obstacle that they were speeding toward this week.
They were hoping for an on-floor momentum help but we have not seen that work, on average, for Republican leaders for years.
House GOP is keeping the vote open in hopes of persuading the no votes. (Trump hotline status: active.).
But the problems are deeply held.

Leadership is trying to jam three wildly different, deeply complex bills through a single vote, each packed with pages upon pages of policy. How could they realistically expect that to pass? What happened to single-issue, single-page bills? Why did we abandon transparency and simplicity?
