I don't know if Mitch is telling the truth or lying about Fort Huachuca. I don't know if Mitch is telling what he thinks is the truth, but is just misremembering or mistaken. I don't know if he's a psyop to discredit Candace and/or the broader investigation into the Charlie Kirk assassination As a private citizen with limited bandwidth & investigative tools, there are only 3 ways I can think of to get to the truth for me: 1. Mitch recants: ▪️So far, Mitch has not recanted. 2. The accused prove Mitch wrong: ▪️So far, the accused have not proven him wrong (With the *possible* exception of Mark Amodei. But even 1 of 4 alleged doesn't falsify the other 3) 3. More facts or witnesses continue to come out that confirm one way or the other: ▪️So far, no evidence has been presented that falsifies the verifiable aspects of Mitch's claims, while other evidence has emerged that he was indeed on base. No other witnesses have come forward. I'm keen to get to the truth one way or another, just as everyone else is. And just like everyone else, I'm basically a hostage to one or more of those 3 remedies. I don't like that, but it is what it is. I'm not married to Fort Huachuca and my own investigation doesn't hinge on it one way or another. Fort Huachuca allegations being false or fake don't falsify other aspects and avenues of this investigation. But it's either a massive distraction or a massive component. At this point, the whole thing has gotten so big, we need to know one way or the other. Can't be swept under the rug or ignored. And smear campaigns from either side are irrelevant. If Mitch is lying or mistaken, the quickest way to discredit him and put this to bed is for Brian Harpole, Erika Kirk, and Cabot Phillips to nuke him with verifiable receipts. And before anyone says, "Why should they dignify any of this with a response?!": Harpole and Kirk have both already provided *some* receipts, but unfortunately what they've provided doesn't falsify Mitch's allegations completely. So since they've already dignified it by responding with some receipts, I don't think it's too much to ask that they finish the job with some final receipts. Full disclosure: My own bias is that I think the most likely explanation is that he was indeed on base and is either misremembering, confusing faces, or seeking attention for some other reason. But, the longer this drags out, and the more that non-debunking receipts keep being issued, the more likely it becomes, IMO. I don't make the rules. Again, I'm basically relying upon either Mitch or Harpole/Kirk/Phillips for the truth. It's unfortunate that it has to be this way, but as just one guy without subpoena power or limitless investigative resources, I don't have other options. And that puts me in the same boat as almost everyone else.
