Bravo Gary, brav-fucking-o. 👏🏼😑

🚨TERROR NETWORK IN CANADA🚨 A Canadian-registered company has been sanctioned by the U.S. Treasury as part of a $100M network linked to Hizballah. This isn’t symbolic. It means financial isolation and global red flags. And somehow… Canada didn’t know. Great Job Gary.

@MichelleRempel @TheDigDawg Raise the bar. Re-work the bill and direct it at protecting anyone under age in the country. That way, if it passes, some of the work is already there for you to add onto it in the future, and if it doesn’t pass, the Liberals will further torch their public image.
English

The Liberals voted against my bill to stop judges from giving lenient sentences to non-citizens convicted of serious crimes like sexual assault in order to allow them to avoid deportation.
God forgive them.

Today, the Liberals voted down four Conservative justice bills.
Every single one of these bills had a straightforward purpose: protect Canadians and respect victims. The Liberals said no to all of them.
❌ Consecutive sentences for sexual predators
❌ Deportation for serious crimes
❌ Ending annual parole hearings for murderers
❌ Jail Not Bail Act
Violent crime is up 55% under the Liberals. This is their answer.

@HungarianBowman @mark_slapinski If Liberals were capable of solutions, Canada would be getting better, not worse, especially after 10+ years of the Liberal government being in power.

English

@Lithiaus @mark_slapinski Conservatives just care about engagement metrics on social media and getting clipable moments to post on X rather than actual solutions

@PierrePoilievre Carney would sooner bribe more MPs to cross the floor to get a majority than fire an MP over immigration fraud.

@bluesky Freedom of speech seems pretty basic, yet you’d rather turn your platform into an echo chamber.

POILIEVRE HAS GIVEN UP ON EVER BECOMING PM OF CANADA.
🟥 He has seen the writing on the wall, and that he is one election away from political oblivion.
And so now he is driven by an urgent desire to monetize the influence he has acquired in Canadian right-wing circles. 💰
He likes lavish living. He likes the mansion, driver, chef, maids and allowances. He likes basking in the limelight and adoration of fawning followers.
This heady power is addictive.
And so, the decision has been made - and this meeting and photo-op with Texas Governor Greg Abbott is a loud statement.
Poilievre has positioned himself proudly and shamelessly, for all to see...
THIS IS HIS NEXT MOVE. ♟️
To look beyond being merely a losing candidate for Prime Minister of Canada.
Abbott, Pierre Poilievre’s new mentor, has been labeled a textbook “bad MAGA guy”.
One who advances a hard-right agenda that even alienates some in his own base:
🔳 A Governor renowned for treating immigrants with extreme cruelty.
🔳 A Governor behind extreme abortion BANS, including pushing versions banning the procedure at six weeks (before many women even know they’re pregnant) and effectively from conception, with zero exceptions for rape or incest.
Using state power to control women’s bodies under the banner of “life” and forcing desperate patients to travel out of state or risk their health.
🔳 A Governor notorious for authoritarian tendencies including calling special sessions to ram through unscheduled REDISTRICTING, explicitly to net Republicans (and Trump) more congressional seats ahead of the 2026 midterms, and threatening to remove and arrest Democrat representatives that tried to resist.
🔳 A Governor who has frequently used emergency declarations to bypass the legislature and courts - signing harsh anti-trans laws, attacking DEI at universities, and restricting how teachers discuss race.
🔳 A Governor whose management style is unchecked one-man rule dressed up as MAGA toughness, that erodes democratic norms while claiming to “protect” them.
THIS is who Pierre Poilievre is now proud to endorse, and in turn, be endorsed BY.
This Governor who embodies the worst of MAGA optics: flashy confrontation, zero accountability for real failures, and a willingness to STEAMROLL checks and balances.
Abbott isn’t just another red-state governor - No, no, - he is the polished face of MAGA governance taken to its logical extreme: performative cruelty on immigration and social issues, disdain for institutional limits, and a habit of prioritizing PARTISAN power plays over competent management. 😒
Poilievre knows full well what he’s doing, when he dines with the likes of Abbott. 🥂
He is saying, “Screw Canada ... I'm now in it for me.”
He has abandoned the fantasy of ever becoming PM of Canada, but he still THIRSTS for power ... and to use that power to accumulate personal wealth, and maintain the lavish living he has become accustomed to on the Canadian taxpayers’ dime. 🍁
His current tour of the USA is merely a mission to drop his CV off with MAGA seniors. 🤷🏻♂️
To say, “I will be your MAGA man in Canada – let’s do something together.”
Meanwhile, the grift continues.

@Martyupnorth Cross Lake didn’t sign the Northern Flood Agreement, which allows them to avoid paying their electricity bills from Manitoba Hydro and also requires Manitoba Hydro to pay for damages to their outboard motors and snowmobiles.

Sorry, what? When I think of first nations, I definitely don't consider them forward-thinking.
Opportunistic... yes. Forward thinking, not so much.
A great example of forward-thinking from our past is the standardization of time zones across North America and eventually the world. In the 1880s, Canadian engineer Sandford Fleming (chief engineer for the Canadian Pacific Railway) proposed dividing the globe into 24 time zones, each 15 degrees of longitude wide, with a universal 24-hour clock and a prime meridian.
This solved massive chaos for railroads. Before then, hundreds of local "sun times" caused scheduling errors, near-misses, and accidents as trains crossed regions.
Rail companies in the USA and Canada adopted it on November 18, 1883, creating the four main zones we still use: Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific.
By the late 1920s, most major countries worldwide had followed suit. This system remains the backbone of global coordination today, scheduling flights, stock markets, international calls, internet servers, GPS, and everyday life.
As far as I'm concerned, forward thinking is planning beyond the next 50 years, and I'd argue that almost none of our modern institutions are doing that effectively.
What are some forward thinking example that come to mind for you?
Kirk Lubimov@KirkLubimov
On the Joe Rogan Podcast, Pierre Poilievre says we should think more like First Nations: "The First Nations in our country are incredibly forward looking...we need to think like they are thinking which is entrepreneurial, speed of business, get it done quickly." 🤔

@GordonGChang @scoopercooper It’ll take a new Prime Minister or intervention from the United States to remove CCP agents from Canadian soil.
