As a man, you HAVE to go through an asshole phase. So many guys want to skip this, because they don’t want to offend: “Can’t I just go from being nice & unsexy to being firm & sexy? Why do I need to be a jerk?” Here’s the truth: Until you spend time ACTIVELY pushing things “too far”, there is NO way to get yourself to go anywhere close to the boundaries. And right at the cusp of the boundaries is where you get women ferociously attracted to you, and command the uppermost respect of your fellow man. You MUST go through the asshole phase, be a little too much of a jerk for a while, and frustrate and annoy people, to really internalize WHERE those boundary lines are. Once you’ve “done your time”, you can move back within the lines and be the really cool guy who is able to take things right up to the borders of what is acceptable without going over. But you’ve got to cross the lines enough time first. Get used to not being nice. It pays huge dividends over the long haul, with women and in life.
