We got this one wrong and know this has been frustrating. In full transparency, this was actually a mistake from human reviewers, and the video shouldn't have been age restricted to begin with. We're taking this back to the team so they can figure out how to prevent it from happening again

You're right that over 12 million channels have been terminated this year, but it varies. For example, 20.5M channels were terminated in Q4 2023 alone. Channels terminated doesn’t = Creators terminated, sometimes a scammy account can have hundreds of channels. This quarter, the spike in terminations was largely due to specific financial scam out of Southeast Asia that led to millions of terminations. Regarding your channel, human reviewers on our policy team confirmed your channel was correctly terminated. We shared all the details with you over DM and can follow up with you there for any other questions.

YouTube isn't YouTube anymore. YouTube doesn't want to be YouTube anymore. YouTube is aiTube. No matter how much we complain, YouTube is not going to get better. Odysee wants to be what YouTube was and with community help, we just might be.

There is a strategy at YouTube that's been unfolding over the past 6-8 months: - Trim back all views of ALL channels, including huge ones like Mr. Beast. - Delete medium size channels (300-600k subs) with AI "moderation" that is out of control (seemingly). Many YouTubers are worried they are prepping for a world where AI creates 90% of the content. Removing human channels and views also shifts resources to AI, which is quickly sucking up all profits as tech is in a race to the death for AGI.

💔 Your success can disappear in 1 second on @YouTube. Work hard → Rapid growth 📈 → Reach monetization → BOOM 💥 “Your channel is terminated for no reason.” Right before my channel was deleted, it was growing faster than ever — 40,000 subscribers and exploded to 12M views within hours. That growth proved my content was valuable. But the moment success finally reached me, YouTube removed my channel for “spam/scam.”

My trend & issue documentary channel is “spam/scam.”??? ❌NO! It is NOT
No Strikes. No Suspicious Links. No misleading uploads.
Thousands of positive feedback from precious subscribers. And this isn’t just my story. On X, we’ve seen many creators experiencing the same nightmare. Their channels were wiped out right before or right after monetization. This is not a coincidence.
 It’s a pattern.
A systemic failure. At the exact moment creators are finally supposed to be rewarded, an AI system takes everything away. Please RT so this injustice reaches @TeamYouTube — the people who can actually fix it. 🙏🔥 #YouTubeAIWrongedCreators @YouTubeCreators @YouTube

HUH?!?!?! I think I'm supposed to be happy that I just received this email that I got 15 minutes ago out of the no where...?? But I'm too stressed out that it's hard to actually feel the relief from the bot review bullying that Youtube puts you through😭😭

God @YouTube using bots to resolve cases is such a joke. Guess I'll never make another channel every again because I'll just be impersonating myself every time 🤡

@OlekChaseCar I went through the same thing. My channel grew quickly and became monetizable within just two weeks of launching, but it was deleted right after. I had made all the videos myself with great care.

Terminated TWO DAYS after hitting monetization requirements? That's not a coincidence. That's a pattern. AI sees fast growth + approaching monetization = "suspicious." Meanwhile you followed every rule. Fast growth shouldn't look like spam to YouTube - it should look like success. #YouTubeAIWrongedCreators
CatKat@chloe_xozy

Is this really just a coincidence??? My 40K-subscriber YouTube channel was terminated right after hitting 12M views — just TWO days after I finally met monetization requirements. My entire channel was wiped out without a single real explanation. I went to sleep after editing until 6AM, excited to check my monetization dashboard… and instead woke up to: “Your channel was removed.” Reason? → Spam/Scam. ❌ I NEVER posted unsafe/ deceptive links ❌ I NEVER received a single warning ❌ NO strikes — ever I took my channel seriously. I fact-checked everything before posting it. If my channel was truly some kind of “scam channel,” wouldn’t it have been removed months ago? So why did this happen exactly when my content was exploding with millions of views and right before monetization? Why are creators losing everything because AI flagged a fast-growing channel as suspicious? I worked. I grew. I followed the rules. And the moment I was finally eligible for monetization… BOOM💥 — GONE. I need your help! Creators, viewers, anyone reading this — RT this and share your story in the comments. This is happening to too many of us. @TeamYouTube, please make things right! #YouTubeAIWrongedCreators @nealmohan

I’ve stayed quiet long enough. Today, after 108 days, I’m saying this clearly: YouTube didn’t just terminate 3 of my channels. They terminated my career, my income, and my trust — without showing a single piece of evidence. Not ONE timestamp. Not ONE video link. Not ONE specific violation. Just vague labels like “spam,” “incentivization,” “circumvention,” that even their own staff contradicted more than once in writing. I followed every policy. My content was simple, educational How-To tutorials. No AI spam. No reuploads. No policy risks. Yet I was judged by a machine — and sentenced by a system that refuses to prove its own accusations. Meanwhile… every creator who goes viral on X gets their channel back instantly. One apology, one “our mistake,” and suddenly everything is fixed. So let me ask @TeamYouTube directly: Is justice only for the loud? Is fairness a privilege reserved for the famous? Do small creators deserve to lose everything in silence? I have 4,000 videos stored on my device. I can publish every single one here if needed. I have nothing to hide — can you say the same? This isn’t just about my channels anymore. This is about the future of every creator who could wake up tomorrow to an automated death sentence… with no explanation, no evidence, and no human being willing to look twice. Small creators matter. Our work matters. Our lives matter. And until I get a real human review — I will not disappear. @TeamYouTube @YouTubeInsider @YouTube #YouTubeAIWrongedCreators

🚨 Today, I received an email from YouTube… and it broke something inside me. I dont know what else Im supposed to feel at this point. 112 days. Thousands of people saw my story. Over a million impressions. And yet @TeamYouTube keeps giving me different answers in every place: • On Twitter they tell me one reason. • By email they give a completely different reason. • Inside YouTube Studio my first channel STILL shows “under review” for 4 months. • And all of this… while claiming everything was “reviewed by a human.” This is not just a mistake anymore. This is chaos. This is negligence. This is a creator being erased while nobody at YouTube even tries to understand what actually happened. I never broke a single rule. I never scammed anyone. I never misled anyone. I made simple educational How-To videos 4,000 of them. Yet all 3 of my channels were terminated with no clear explanation, no evidence, no timestamps, NOTHING. And today I received an email that contradicts everything they said before… again. You know what? I will start posting my videos here on X so everyone can SEE the content YouTube destroyed. Let the world judge whether I deserved this punishment. Im exhausted. Im hurt. Im angry. I feel invisible. Why am I the creator YouTube ignores? Why am I the one who gets different excuses every time? Why is a platform this big unable to give ONE clear, truthful answer? Im asking the community again: Please help me be heard. I cant fight this alone anymore. @TeamYouTube @YouTubeInsider @YouTube #YouTubeAIWrongedCreators

CHANNEL TERMINATION UPDATE! After almost two months of posting appeals on X hoping for a response and being denied 3 times in total and being ignored, my Vtuber fan channel has finally been reinstated!🫨 I can’t believe it….all my efforts have not been in vain all this time and I can finally be at rest….😮‍💨 Thanks to all who liked, reposted and commented on my tweets for I really appreciate your help! However, the battle’s not over yet as the main problem at hand is still here which is the fact many creators are being terminated left and right without any proper reason due to a rogue AI which is NOT ok seeing how many were affected by this issue then and now…. #YouTubeAIWrongedCreators

@SmileySmilik @WalterTheJester YouTube can display ads on videos even if the channel isn't monetized, and in such cases, all ad revenue goes to YouTube. However, once monetization is enabled, YouTube can no longer run ads for free, which is why some channels end up being deleted altogether.

YouTube uses AI system to terminate channels - the MOST of the false terminations during the years happens in Q4 (October-December) Here's the REASON... Creators revenue is SIGNIFICANTLY higher in the fourth quarter due to a major surge in advertising spending by companies during the holiday season. When a creator is terminated -they don’t receive the money they’ve already earned. YouTube might be just ROBBING creators...
