I returned to Ogun State today with a full heart. What I saw in Iperu is the kind of progress we must insist on as a nation. Quite deliberate, and built to last. The Gateway Cargo Airport stands as proof of what is possible when vision is matched with discipline. As I said, “Our investment is about our people. Today’s foundation is for tomorrow’s prosperity.” I acknowledge Governor Dapo Abiodun @DapoAbiodunCON for his focus and consistency. Development is not about noise. It is about decisions that improve lives. From the aircraft launched today to the electric bikes, tractors, and security assets, this is what progress should look like. Practical, real, and visible. “Development must touch every level,” and I am pleased to see that principle taking shape in Ogun State. Our Renewed Hope reforms are not abstract. They have provided more resources for sub-nationals and are creating room for states to act and deliver. Many states, including Ogun, are rising to the moment. We will stay the course. “We are building for people, and we are building for prosperity.” As they say in Ogun, “Ìṣẹ́ yá…” I say, “Ìṣẹ̀ ń lọ.” The work continues. - Bola Ahmed Tinubu President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria .@ngrpresident .@nigeriagov

Mr. Hundeyin's disengagement was due to repeated, and documented financial irresponsibility. The Board members no longer had confidence in his commitment to the core principles of WAW or in his work ethic. In due time, more communication will be made available on these issues.

@jeffphilips1 When I saw his protruding belly like that of a pregnant termite I knew Hundeyin was up to some new sleazy funding🤣 That conman fugitive wanted in the UK blocked me 2 yrs ago when I exposed his fraud craft. Once Dokpesi died his revenues from Atiku died. Ghana will kick him out

Haaaaa...NADECO Tinubu has struck again, he's now muzzling the press by buying over West Africa Weekly board to shut down the only global voice of the opposition. We will not take it, Abacha didn't do anything like this.

We say we want a country that works, but we often refuse to do the right things—and then turn around to call Tinubu a dictator. From what we’ve seen so far, he has shown zero tendencies of dictator. Some even claim Buhari was more democratic, yet he banned Twitter for a year through his Attorney General Malami—who is now a chieftain in the ADC with Peter Obi. A court ruling was issued on March 12, and almost three weeks later, the ADC still hasn’t taken meaningful steps to put its house in order. So here’s the question: why can’t Atiku and others build their own political parties? Why move from one platform to another or take over existing ones? We saw Obi in LP, Atiku in ADC, and even attempts with SDP. So who exactly is the dictator here? Let’s be honest—some of these narratives don’t add up. Tinubu 2027.

Abacha wanted a one-party contraption; he wanted all the political parties to endorse him. Exactly what is happening today. The truth stings!

I have left politics Twitter since 2023 but this NADECO issue might tempt me back. That we have gotten to a point where we are now comparing the worse administration between Tinubu and Abacha tells you all that you need to know about how appalling Tinubu’s government has been. Since 2023, do you know how many people lost their lives in Nigeria under Tinubu? No way you want to tell me that more people lost their lives under Abacha. No way! Bring the stats! Today, people can’t even travel by road again in Nigeria because of the fear of kidnapping and fulani herdsmen. It was never this bad under Abacha, no way! My cousin was posted to the North by NYSC and the family have agreed that she’s not going. Things are that bad!

BREAKING ADC is taking its fight for democracy global. As part of our efforts to strengthen international engagement, we are establishing a Special Representatives Network across key global capitals to engage foreign governments, amplify credible information about Nigeria’s political environment, and counter one-sided government narratives. This comes amid growing attacks on our members, attempts to undermine our leadership, and efforts to restrict political participation ahead of the 2027 General Elections. Our representatives will engage foreign governments, international media, democracy institutions, and the Nigerian diaspora, providing regular briefings on political developments, human rights concerns, and electoral integrity. We are also launching a National Documentation Initiative to systematically track and report incidents affecting political participation across Nigeria. From Washington DC to London, Brussels to Addis Ababa, ADC is building a global platform for accountability. Nigeria’s democracy must be seen, heard, and defended everywhere.

The opposition has failed in its most basic responsibility — ensuring a proper and credible transfer of leadership. People are growing tired of this “snatch-and-grab” style of politics. Was it really necessary for Atiku and El-Rufai to move in and attempt to take over the ADC? Actions like this only reinforce the perception of disorganization and opportunism. Nigeria cannot afford to hand over its affairs to a group that appears so divided and uncoordinated. For those claiming there is no opposition, that simply isn’t true. There are other platforms — the SDP, Sowore’s party, and several others — offering alternatives. And to those shouting about dictatorship under Tinubu, it’s worth reflecting: what do you call trying to forcefully take control of a party by all means? The same approach was attempted with the SDP, and they were firmly rejected. As President Tinubu said, “I won’t help you put your house in order.” The question is — should he?

Buhari who overthrew a democratically elected govt didn’t kill opposition and democracy from 2015-2019 but ex NADECO activist does not want any opposition in the country. He wants to go unopposed in 2027. Tinubu will eventually burn down this country if he continues this way.
