I should hope so. But it's not shocking that collectivists would align with other collectivists. They never actually disagreed with Marx. This is legitimately just fascists and communists, two Marxian socialist brothers, unifying like the German National Socialists did, and if they gain power they will kill each other, like the German National Socialists did. Or like Trotskyites and Stalinists. Or to change perspective but still drive the point home, Sunni and Shia. They are just zealots of the same ilk, collectivists who have reached peak purity testing. But before that of course they would align. Nick Fuentes has always said he believed in the power of a centralized state for a "greater good". Fascism and Communism are not diametrically opposed. Not even a little. They only become truly opposed at all in the final iterations of the purity test, when all else has fallen before them.

@TravisAMoses @philthatremains I'm saying it is that simple because there is zero doubt the alternative is worse. You are taking edge cases and making them the norm. Reality is most violent criminals are repeat offenders and lots of people around them know exactly what they are. Just start there.

Listen I don't want to take people off anti-depressants if they are really working for them, or even if they just want them, but this is talking about trying to help folks not need them. To battle their depression in other ways. Anti-depressants aren't a cure all. They were never meant to be a lifelong solution for the overwhelming majority of people on them.

I worked in logistics and trucking for about 18 years, not driving. The main dock at our primary warehouse was awful. Really, really bad. You could always tell the newer guys because they'd be at it a long while trying to get trailers in. But some dudes I'd watch and be like "That ain't gonna work, what's this idiot do-...wait, how the hell'd he do that?"

Look man, your take is ludicrous. You would have us, what, never arrest anyone? Because it could possibly be a mistake? If one in 100K is a mistake, just toss out the rest? What's the ratio you'd allow? Clearly we are talking about people that are very obviously guilty. If you want to talk about raising the bar for proof, then do that. But to say "we can't put people in jail who we are 99.99999% sure killed someone, because hey...the courts man!"...that's insane. No one wants to live in a society hamstrung by that logic. No one would, because the society would last six months on the outside. I'm with you on worrying about abuse of power but we still need to be able to punish bad people.

You do realize he isn't actually sitting in that money in a bank right? Like he won't be hoarding ten trillion in cash under a mattress. It's the value of the things he owns, that the rest of us, or someone with the money, assigns to it. And that's not even getting into inflation, which on a large enough timescale is going to make us all trillionaires.

@THemingford Coffee shop waitress isn’t a job you do when you want to pay a mortgage and have kids. It’s a summer job for young kids. If you want to make it “cover the cost of living” then coffee (and everything else especially food) gets more expensive as with every minimum wage increase.
