The Marlin Open Is Coming! 🎣 Until now, our Open tournaments have focused exclusively on freshwater fishing. This time, however, we’re heading out to sea for an entirely new challenge—the Marlin Open! Across five rounds, you’ll compete to catch a different target marlin each week. Some rounds will feature marlins you already know and love, while others will introduce brand-new marlins making their first appearance in Real VR Fishing! When the event begins, a special Marlin Trophy Display will appear in your Lodge. Participate in each round and catch the designated target species to gradually complete this unique display Curious to see what it looks like? We’ll reveal it very soon! 👀 Leaderboard Rankings Leaderboard rankings will be determined by the size of the target marlin caught during each round. If multiple players catch marlins of the same size, the player who caught theirs first will be ranked higher. Every catch counts, so join each round early and keep aiming for an even bigger marlin! Golden Token Rewards Golden Tokens will be awarded based on your leaderboard ranking in each round. Once all five rounds have concluded, additional Golden Tokens will also be distributed based on the overall standings across the entire Marlin Open. Open tournaments are one of the best opportunities to earn a large number of Golden Tokens, so don’t miss out! Participate in every round, climb the leaderboard, and use your rewards to pick up the Golden Token outfit or fishing gear you’ve always wanted! Tournament Schedule Each round will last for one week. All dates are based on PST. - Round 1: July 21 – July 28, 2026 - Round 2: July 28 – August 4, 2026 - Round 3: August 4 – August 11, 2026 - Round 4: August 11 – August 18, 2026 - Round 5: August 18 – August 25, 2026 Prepare your saltwater gear and get ready to chase the biggest marlins in the sea.
