Did you know there is a Jewish police force in the UK? They are voluntary and have no powers of arrest. They exist to protect the Jewish community. Just imagine the uproar if we had a Muslim police force in the UK going around in police cars. The usual suspects would be in complete meltdown.

#TheMandalorian creator Jon Favreau aimed to create/maintain an iconic silhouette with a helmet that was reminiscent of characters like Vader. 👀 ICYMI - #StarWars has learned a big lesson: Pedro Pascal is just as valuable, if not more so, to the character as his iconic helmet is. 🎭 screenrant.com/the-mandaloria…

Elon Musk is tightening the grip on our presence here, shutting doors in the faces of Palestinians and Muslims, while giving space to hateful propaganda. If you believe in our right to live, to speak, to be seen… just say hello. A simple “hello” is enough to remind us we’re not alone in this world full of unjust silence.

When someone like Guardiola speaks this plainly, it exposes a brutal truth… you don’t need to be a politician or a scholar to see that Gaza is not a “complex issue” anymore, it’s mass punishment of a trapped population. Saying “the damage is irreparable” is not exaggeration, it’s a moral diagnosis of a world that watched live-streamed massacres and mostly responded with statements, not consequences. What he’s really pointing at is shared responsibility. It’s easy to blame “leaders,” but leaders act this way because they know the cost of betraying Palestinian lives is close to zero in the current system. That’s not just their failure, it’s ours too… our silence, our distractions, our willingness to move on while entire families are erased. His line about children is the heart of it. If you need a legal debate to decide whether bombing hospitals, schools and refugee camps is acceptable, your problem is not lack of information, it’s a damaged conscience. International law, human rights, all the big words… they mean nothing if they collapse the moment a powerful ally decides one population is expendable. Guardiola can go back to football after this. Palestinians can’t go back to the lives they had before. That asymmetry is exactly why voices with platforms have a duty to speak, and why the rest of us don’t get to hide behind “neutrality” anymore.

@TouchlineX “The world has left Palestine completely alone. No one can defend what’s happening — no one will tell me this is anything other than genocide.” Pep Guardiola speaks powerfully on Palestine, world leaders’ inaction, and why football solidarity is never “just symbolic.”

@TouchlineX “I knew I would find solidarity but nothing like this: I am in shock, I have no words. Not just in the stadium but from the moment we arrived at the airport, in the street, everywhere." —Palestine coach in Bilbao The people are with Palestine. Everywhere. theguardian.com/football/2025/…

1/ Let's depersonalise this. Passes: the London councils pay Transport for London, the sum of tickets that would have been paid by tickets being bought. TfL don't lose money when people use their Freedom Pass. The cost is borne by councils who are funded locally and from govt.

Kings and Queens of inequality. The people’s royal family propaganda is for the criminally gullible knee-bending servile when the hereditary monarchy is all about defending vast privilege and grotesque unearned wealth. mirror.co.uk/news/royals/ka…

Let me get this straight. Starmer is attacking the most vicious, ideologically Right Wing Tory Govt in living memory, of NOT going far enough, in their persecution of the sick, disabled and poor..? I’m not sure how anyone could consider voting # Labour
Stats for Lefties 🍉🏳️‍⚧️@LeftieStats

The Times reported today that under Keir Starmer, Labour will not oppose the plans. Instead, Shadow Work and Pensions Secretary Liz Kendall will argue that the government is not going far enough. Link: thetimes.co.uk/article/jobles…

No one is coming to Palestines aid against a nuclear force, this is just a reality people need to understand. We share responsibility for what's happening, it's up to us in the West to force our governments who arm Israel to stop it. Protests aren't enough. We need to do more.
