@Rushthewriter Exactly why I schooled a therapist I saw when she allowed her "office manager" to email clients asking for copies of insurance cards from a Gmail. It gets clients, many of whom are less tech-savvy, used to trusting and sending sensitive info to a free email anyone could set up.

A student loan forgiveness scammer messaged me from a Hotmail account and I have never been more insulted. Really, a Hotmail account in 2024??? Sir, at least make a fake government email account and pitch your wares. But a Hotmail account?!!!

Depositions in this matter were conducted on January 19, 2024, wherein the State’s own witness—DCI Special Agent Mark Ludwick—testified that the DCI engaged in an illegal search of Mr. Johnson’s and dozens of others’ online account information, and that he was misled as to the purpose of the investigation by the Special Agents in charge. “Specifically: The facts given in this deposition by Special Agent Mark Ludwig were: a. The DCI engaged in an illegal search of Mr. Johnson’s and dozens of others’ online account information because the agency did not obtain a GeoFence Warrant as well as lacked reasonable, articulable suspicion to conduct such a search. He further stated that he and other agents were misled as to the purpose of the investigation by the Special Agents in charge wherein they were told the investigation was purely administrative against FanDuel, DraftKings, and other online gaming operators.  These statements were passed to Isaiah Lee with the assurance that no adverse or criminal consequence would be forthcoming.  Mr. Lee cooperated and was later charged.  (summary of testimony) “The facts given in this deposition by Special Agent in Charge Brian Sanger were: b. Special Agent Brian Sanger along with 4 other team members were given access to Kibana in December of 2022.
