This framework will support schools and colleges to give all young people a high-quality enrichment offer – we look forward to working closely with the Government, alongside our peers, to support this work 🤝

As always, it will be important to look closely at the money and ask: a) is any of the investment new? b) is this a real-terms cut to existing provision in a different form? Good to see how this fits with Labour manifesto commitments to arts education too: lnkd.in/eC8GksGF

But lots of the things in the initial remit of this new body (if it is properly supported and resourced) are absolutely needed in the sector and deserve much more focus and investment.
