Yesterday we officially opened our brand new Robin Hood theatres at City Hospital. Who better to cut the ribbon than the man himself?🏹🌳 The three brand-new theatres, which include a surgical robot, host multiple specialities including colorectal and ear, nose and throat.

Yesterday we celebrated the relaunch of our Homebirth Service. 37 babies have been delivered at home (including one in the woods) since the service relaunched in March. If you'd like to discuss a homebirth, please ask your community midwife to refer you to the Homebirth Team.

My story started when I was just 5 years old. I was kicked in the shin which sent my lymphatic system into overdrive and dissolved the bone in my leg. At the time there were only 7 cases in the world and no cure. This is why rehab matters:bit.ly/3zb7xGW @markbriggsgb11

The #Nottingham actor @Vicky_McClure has opened a new dementia-friendly assessment unit at the QMC. It's hoped the short-stay unit will reduce bed-blocking and take pressure off A&E. Vicky's own grandmother had dementia - she also set up @OurDemChoir @itvcentral @nottmhospitals
