@whitefeelimgs @PotatoMcWhiskey Its not just EBT- you have to look at the totality of need-based programs. It is 100% possible to lose more EBT/Rent Assistance/Medicaid/etc than you get with a pay raise under certain circumstances. It's called a welfare cliff and its a sign that a system needs to be adjusted

@LoLHellcy @PotatoMcWhiskey EBT is generally $195 a month. There is not one person who is deliberately seeking low wage work to collect $195 in groceries. California health care is different. If you get $1500 psoriasis treatment it might cost you money to earn more

@penguinshaped @whitefeelimgs @PotatoMcWhiskey Its never intentional but those decisions add up overtime. A good system will be built so that at worst its an offset where you lose benefits but make up for it in post-deduction income, but thats a very, very hard balance to actually hit

Age verification on the internet is just a government scam to identify who is critical of the government on the internet. Kids will find a way, and it's their parents responsibility to deal with it. Digital ID must be pushed back or you will never have any privacy again.

i gave an AI $50 and told it "pay for yourself or you die" 48 hours later it turned $50 into $2,980 and it's still alive autonomous trading agent on polymarket every 10 minutes it: → scans 500-1000 markets → builds fair value estimate with claude → finds mispricing > 8% → calculates position size (kelly criterion, max 6% bankroll) → executes → pays its own API bill from profits if balance hits $0, the agent dies so it learned to survive built in rust for speed claude API for reasoning (agent pays for its own inference) runs on a $4.5/month VPS weather markets: parses NOAA before polymarket updates sports: scrapes injury reports, finds mispricing crypto: on-chain metrics + sentiment $50 → $2,980 in 48 hours how much do u think i’ll see in a week?

WA HB-2321 if passed — July 1, 2027 no more 3D printers can be sold or transferred in Washington state unless they contain firearm and firearm parts blocking features. Section 6 goes into detail about requiring the blocking in firmware and even slicers to have handshake code, likely to prevent existing and older slicers from being used. Yea that shouldn’t be a hold despite what people are gonna say with the arm around the defender. If he turns his body and is falling down and you “throw” him down and he’s still right in front of you then it’s not a hold. You sling him to the side sure, but not like that
