Classic bridge attack pattern again. I keep seeing this happen. Every time a new chain gains traction, the bridges become the weakest point. One vulnerability and millions disappear in minutes. It reminds me why verifiability and proper security design matter so much. Not just speed and hype, but real protection for the assets people put on these networks. On the Recent Supra Oracle Incident✨ A flaw in Supra’s Verifier allowed manipulated price data to be accepted, resulting in approximately $9 million being drained from the Bonzo Finance lending protocol. What I find noteworthy is how the team responded. Joshua Tobkin communicated relatively quickly and made it clear that the vulnerability was patched within just a few hours. He also stated openly that Supra itself did not sign any incorrect values and that this specific issue does not exist on Supra (Move). In addition, he has been in direct contact with the founder of Bonzo, as well as with Hedera and other involved parties. That said, the question remains how such a fundamental validation error could occur in a core part of the Oracle infrastructure. Given that Supra positions its Oracles as one of the key components of its technology, an incident like this naturally carries more weight. At the end of the day, this case once again highlights how sensitive and complex it is to provide reliable data on-chain. I hope Supra draws the right technical lessons from this and continues to strengthen its Verifiers in the long term. supra.com/news/security-…
