Luka removed the defenders ability to jump and contest most of his shots. Doesn’t matter how high someone can jump if you can get the ball up before they can react and jump. Prime Harden used NBA rules to his advantage, defenders were very limited on what they could do against him.

I don’t take any of this personal, I like chitchatting with interesting people. My highschool coach for a prior Marine, he definitely taught me how to push my limits, and yelled a lot, but there was substance behind his words. He built up a valuable understanding and used that to push buttons, I love that dude. But, he was actually fired for aggressively grabbing one of the his players by the jersey during a game. That’s the sad part about society not understanding aggression and how to bring it under your own control. It has an evolutionary reason and subverting that has consequences.

My main issue is more with jumping on something as “soft” without understanding what the underpinnings are for the individual. There are 2 distinct issues here. 1. He is a coach, but, it is a business. Because there is enormous amounts of money lurking everywhere. So his need to quickly and completely dissuade misaligned antics has to be addressed, getting loud allows others to learn from one persons mistake. 2. As you put it is motivation. I have never in my life needed anyone to motivate me for anything, so yelling at me was a learning experience. Any energy brought at me is a null effect, which means content of character supersedes aggression.
