Dallas is going to be a great team when they just string things together a little more. They're actually a pretty balanced team if people aren't worried who has to be the hero at any given time. They're far more lethal than last year--and better coached.

I’m all for this. She just came off a full college season straight into her rookie year. Long term health over everything. My demon will be cookin other teams in no time.

i think you have to be a uconn fan that has seen all of azzi’s career to fully understand why everything can’t just be blamed on the wings and jose. azzi and paige had tons of moments throughout their uconn careers where geno auriemma had to constantly tell them to shoot the basketball. i noticed a while ago that both didn’t always like taking certain looks that weren’t completely clean. i think paige grew out of this once she came back from injury and started fully trusting her body again but im not sure azzi is completely there yet. azzi doesn’t want to get undercut while shooting and doesn’t always wanna attack the basket like she once did during the beginning of her sophomore season when she was healthy. at the end of the day paige had to take it on herself to be more aggressive and find opportunities that aren’t entirely generated on systematic screens or backcuts. azzi will have to do the same. i think when azzi sees her body will hold up over time her aggressiveness and risk taking on the court will change.

@blahuzu It's not about her footing. Azzi did fine. It's about her being deliberately sabotaged. Azzi is the most gifted player on that team. Paige knows it. Benching her then ignoring her when she was in has nothing to do with her "footing" Paige passed Azzi the ball once in her debut. 1

@bylercrackhouse She will get more playing time and more touches. It was the first game of the season and her career. If anything, watching her get the shot up over Caitlin made me excited for the season and this team.
