@martianwyrdlord This whole thing is so overplayed. Here in the Midwest, kids are still doing all this shit, but for some reason all the kids that live in the CITY specifically just decided one day that socializing/fun was now impossible or not worth it. It's a city/urban mindset problem

15 year old games... Of all the things some PS5 owners self-sabotage on and make themselves look so spineless and useless even though they protested the Physical Media removal by Sony and PlayStation... They do it over digital ports of 14-16 year old Call of Duty games??? Black Ops 1 and 2 go to as cheap as $13 on Steam...while the PS5 PORT is around $40, OR $20 if you are still a PSN+ member. Idk whether to be laughing or feeling second-hand embarrassment. This is clown behaviour.

Yes, buy. Your fear mongering of "you own nothing" is irrelevant when you literally agree to the TOS under the assumption that you're aware that digital games can be removed. There are many reasons why games get delisted and removed from store fronts; doesn't mean YOU lose access to that game. The whole movie situation was most likely not Sony's decision and they were forced to remove that media because of the movie service no longer being supported on that platform. Stop acting like you don't own your games simply because you have a license. They can't just revoke your license like that for no reason. 🤣

Valve is getting praise after helping a first-time indie developer instead of rejecting their game at the last minute. The developer accidentally uploaded a broken build that wouldn’t launch just before the Steam Next Fest deadline. Instead of rejecting it, a Steam reviewer found the problem, fixed the game’s configuration, and approved the build in time for the event. Other indie developers also shared that Valve has done the same for their games

Killing youself is an inherently selfish thing to do bar circumstances where a more painful death is certain. Killing youself when you have a young child, with a wife who is a SAHM is a deeply evil thing to do. He isn’t a fucking hero, at best he was an extremely mentally ill burnout who let a manic episode get the best of him, at worst he is a miserable coward who ruined the lives of at least two people because he was “burnt out”. You don’t get to bring a new life into this world and then end your own because it’s hard, it’s always been hard, is it harder now? Absolutely, is it harder than it should be? Absolutely? Does that give you carte blanche to fuck up the lives around you with selfish actions? No.

I get the feeling that the hatred some White women feel for their brothers, fathers, uncles, grandfathers, and sons has been made public policy. So as a result of this oikophobic (self-race-hating) policy, you get men such as Richard Russell who'd rather barrell-roll a plane into a mountain than try looking for a better job. To many other White men, Russell became an instant cult hero with a massive online following. The "Sky King" memes still return once in a while on the social medias. How did one man's suicidal wish turn into a heroic inspiration? Because Russell did what too many men think of doing: clocking the F out of this rigid, unhuman life that leaves no room for one's growth and development. Or that fact that Russell decided to kill himself by teaching himself how to fly a Bombardier Q400 plane from watching YouTube videos. The message of that act was this: There is a thing of genius hiding in every working-class White man, and if only we wouldn't fear death, the world would learn to fear us.

You're being purposefully naive, where's the video of him taking the shot? Why did the state immediately destroy several pieces of key evidence, including the crime scene? Why did they sell the SUV immediately after? Why is Charlie Kirk's shirt not in evidence? Why isn't there an exit wound? What's the motive? Where's the video of him turning himself in? Where's the video of them at the hospital?

@Aristotle7777 This is something I'm genuinely puzzled by. I'm a father myself. I'm 44, my son is 5. I would give my life for my son. There is, quite literally, nothing I wouldn't do for him. Why do Boomers still care so much about sex and so little about their offspring?

The society we are living in has become a nightmare of young men being ruled over by out of touch boomers and the women they hired. How this seems to work is boomer men hire and mentor young women instead of competent young men, who they probably view as rivals to their power. This allows geriatric boomers to retain power for far longer than normal while also being surrounded by the equivalent of a work harem of women. This effectively shuts out the young men from power which isn’t natural or healthy for a society in the long term.

This should not be possible @Steam Would be cool if you could finally do something about your refund policy... Got dozens of reviews like that and 21% refund rate even though the Reviews are 90% very positive... Thats over 55,000 Refunds btw...

"Valve still hasn't fixed it" There's nothing to fix the refund policy is excellent and the fact that you want to reduce consumer rights just so you can profit off that dogshit game is hilarious

be Mateo - 23 years old - solo game developer from Germany - goes on vacation, tries paddle boating with his brother - realizes how hard it actually is - gets home, builds a physics-based coop paddle game around the idea - ships the demo in 2 weeks - releases the full game as "Paddle Paddle Paddle" - game blows up - sells over 150,000 units - goes full-time as an indie dev - named Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe 2026 should be a total win - 90% positive reviews - game clearly works, clearly isn't broken but the game is short, tight, and easy to finish fast - 55,000 refunds - 21% refund rate - $164,000 clawed back at $2.99 a copy not because it's bad because Steam's refund window has a blind spot - less than 2 hours played, 14 days since purchase - instant refund, no questions asked - built to protect buyers from broken games - can't tell "this didn't work" from "I beat this and want my money back" this exact exploit already happened in 2021 - different indie dev, Emika Games, hit the same wall - nearly quit the industry over it Valve still hasn't fixed it - posts about it publicly, gets support from the community - keeps developing anyway - already teasing his next game, a coop voice-controlled chaos game called CAAAHR went from a shower thought on vacation to 150,000 units sold to a six-figure hole in his pocket, all from the same industry that put him on Forbes' 30 Under 30 list
