Fun new product launch @epicgardening - a “mini seed shaker” for easy sowing of flower mixes. Just shake out, water, wait…and a garden grows Our product development process and launch cadence is getting SO much stronger than where we were a year ago

Quick sketch before bed...in the past this would taken hours (and been worse). This one took ~30min, which is in itself a marker of skill improvement! Month 9 teaching myself to draw

Note to self: I've been letting the algorithm distract me. Seeing AI tools being built left, right, and centre promising riches (of which most are prob BS). That's not me. I'm a top class consultant, that's my game. For several years I've been paid very handsomely again, and again, and again for consulting projects. I've been recommended and referred dozens of times with a extremely high retention rate. That's my game. From marketing, strategy, ads and AI there's more than enough opportunity for someone with my skillset and experience to build the life I want* *I've realised this is key not to lose sight of - knowing what to want and working back from there. Even if I just earned the same as I have for the next decade I could retire comfortably and provide for my family. And mostly I quite enjoy consulting. I like speaking with clients, working with teams, and learning about how different businesses operate. So stop f*&%ing around and stay the course. --- End of note.

I've wanted a tool like this for years... so I built it! Easily adds conversion tracking to any site, fully automated via Google Tag Manager. One click and your GA4 events are set up. nocodetracking.com

Your agent is half done when it stops and asks you something. That's not a bug. But it might be a design failure. The Interruption Problem is one of the least-solved challenges in agent engineering. A thread 🧵

My Mum said my newsletter reminded her of my late Grandpa’s stories. He was the man that inspired me to start taking photos and capturing my stories. Not sure a higher honour could be achieved. Everything from here on up is extra.

Chose to rewrite this week's newsletter because it wasn't fun. I slipped back into my habits of writing serious (boring) pieces instead of just having a good time. Life is electric, you don't have to be so serious all the time.

🎩 "Well, Actually..." - I built an AI that mansplains everything you say. It scores its own patronization. There's a bingo card. It talks back. Happy Women's Day 💐 👉 well-actually.lovable.app 🥰powered by @elevenlabs x @Lovable

@jaymac Interesting that Travel is lower than on search. Seems like every LLM demo shows them planning a trip... but maybe the users aren't using AI for that yet

The interesting insight here is Software & Tech I think. Running 4x the ads on ChatGPT than the relative equivalent on Google. There are good use cases for most categories but I like software (specify industry, requirements, regulations, budget, etc. all via chat) Big opp.

Assembling a team at DeepMind in London. Scaling up RL for post-training is working, but right now it's still mostly hacks and dark arts (pretraining circa 2019). Pre-training wasn't always scaling laws and log-log plots; someone had to find the simplicity. We aim to do the same. If you're interested in doing things right in a research-first environment that scales all the way, please apply: job-boards.greenhouse.io/deepmind/jobs/…

Free alpha for the next CEO of a burger chain that's going to take a bite of their "product" here's how to mog the competition: McDonald's CEO has set the frame. Despite early vitriol, he's pulled an uno-reverse in the discourse as the populace realized he's simply built different There have been 3 followup burger bites, all less successful than the original: this is because all played into McDonald's CEO's frame. He created the world. You're living in it if you simply take a bigger bite (Burger King), eat it normally (Wendy's), or satirically mock it (A&W) The only winning play is one that breaks the frame wide open, resetting the social hierarchy amongst CEOs. This means you have to come at it from an angle that is reminiscent of the McDonald's video, but more importantly TRANSCENDS it vs. mocking or "improving" it Couple of ideas: - Whatever you do, EAT the burger and show yourself swallowing it. Bonus points if you're fat. We know you really like these things then - Fly Review of the Week guy out, eat a burger with him, vibe 100% naturally and don't edit the video at all. Better yet, let HIM edit it and put it out no revisions - Have a burger eat a CEO and review the CEO. It might just be insane enough to transcend McDonald's

Personal update: I’m stoked to share that I recently joined @opensea as Staff Engineer. I’ve spent the last 5 years in crypto because digital ownership is inevitable. NFT use cases will continue to expand, and OpenSea is uniquely positioned to help shape what comes next onchain. Time to build.
