In 1930s Germany, the Nazis gradually isolated, economically targeted, dehumanized, and excluded Jews from public life long before the Holocaust began. The aftermath of the Kosher Kingdom store in Golders Green, NW London after yesterday’s major fire. The stench of smoke is heavy and firemen tell me there is still ashes burning inside more than 16 hours later.

The IRGC are back in Golders Green in London, where Iranians opposed to the brutal regime waved their flags. A black vehicle drove through and shouted abuse. Shomrim are currently on scene assisting Police and Hatzola following a road traffic collision on Golders Green Road. At this stage, the incident is being treated as a road traffic collision and has not been classified as an antisemitic incident by the Metropolitan Police. The @metpoliceuk have asked the public to avoid the area while emergency services remain on scene. One person is currently being treated by Hatzola. Shomrim is awaiting further confirmation regarding the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident; however, it is not currently thought to pose an ongoing threat. A further statement will be issued once additional verified information becomes available.

Which is what the changing room in Colchester had which is the video she was responding to. I’m really interested to know if you have a logical answer

1/ @marksandspencer if this is the result of your staff training then shame on you. A woman is quite reasonably asking why she should share a changing room with a man. Do you recommend brushing the worries of women & girls off? The woman was polite despite her distress, yet your staff member says “…if you’re gonna be abusive…”. This misdirection is exactly the same as the men in dresses who complain to the police about women who make them feel “unsafe”. Unsafe is a mixed sex changing room. The men in these situations are neither being abused nor unsafe. They are dishonestly manipulating the narrative to deny women their rights by claiming fear themselves.

Unlikely, I know, but remember fear is often unrationable, the thought of a selfie stick and mobile poking in is another concern. Pervs do exist.

@LockhartSus @littlelouandMM @WomensRightsNet @marksandspencer If the changing rooms have floor to ceiling rooms and lockable doors then it’s completely safe for women which is exactly what this M&S store has. It’s no different to restaurants with a individual lockable w/c. Which are also classed as gender neutral. Hope this helps

@HelsBells63 @WomensRightsNet @marksandspencer This is another issue: Had I been warned by the sign that the fitting room was unisex, I might well not have entered at all. but if I did, I would have chosen a cubicle right next to the exit. I was trying on bras, naked upper, so went down the corridor. so wrong to mislead women

@CarlNicholls6 @LockhartSus @WomensRightsNet @marksandspencer You do realise the cubicles don't open onto the shop floor, so they don't constitute a single-sex lockable room? They are in a shared area separate from the public space. The male in the cubicle next to me was between me & the exit, talking on his phone, making his presence felt.

Being aware that a male couldn't help overhearing comments, questions and answers would definitely adversely affect outcome.

Why should women be expected to explain from first principles why they need privacy from men when they're in a state of undress? Everybody knows why women need certain provisions to enjoy equal access to society. That women are at risk from male violence in public, especially when naked. This continued hostility and feigned ignorance is not good enough @marksandspencer. As an aside the last time I used your gender neutral changing room I heard two males outside the curtain. Both men were advising their wives, logically I knew I wasn't at risk l, but instinctively my fight or flight kicked in. I wasn't expecting to feel that anxious but I did. Now I have an association in my lizard brain between M&S and the threat of sexual violence. I won't use these facilities again and I am surely not the only customer to feel this way.
