I'm seeing a few post on “sell in May and go away” not valid now, or “sell in May and regret every day” (that’s my one lol), or some other rhyming cute phrase. Timelines are being pushed out slightly further now, and yes, we need to stay flexible and dynamic and roll with the punches. But… what I will say is irrelevant of what month it is or what the next timeframe is… sell when you see a decent profit worth taking. If May does give that on your token selection, then take some profits… don’t listen to the new trending forecast because at the end of the day no one knows. Sell when you see a good profit...it will save you a lot of anguish and anxiety and frustration… May or whenever… sell in profit… control greed and that “what if it goes higher” mentality and start shaving off profits… full stop amigos. I’m a veteran in the investing game, and profit taking is the least utilised skill I’ve seen.
