@samuelcorsan Somewhat, yes. If the UI gets the job done and makes sense, then how nice it looks is just bonus points. On the flip side, it matters if the solution confusing and buried behind several hidden pages or buttons, but I guess that's more of a UX problem.

@trikcode Depends on how I'm stuck, haha. If i have a solution and it isn't working, then I log the I/O in more areas, analyze the code to understand where my flaws are at.

@bluewmist Probably my favorite on the subject is the book Code, by Charles Petzoid. It uses telegraph relays to build logic gates to build circuits to build a computer. It is as entertaining as it is thoughtful. Can't recommend it enough.
