Travelogue update: the Austin airport was full of Indians. apparently that demographic flood is real 1) a very outsized proportion of the travelers arguing with staff, etc. were Indian 2) all I saw in a wheelchair demanding to get on the plane first was Indian, all were pushed by airport employees rather than their family members, and most looked healthy enough.
