Our preprint has now been peer-reviewed and published! We described a role for kinase CK2 and phosphatase CTDNEP1 in regulating protein turnover of SUN2, an inner nuclear membrane protein. Exciting new research avenues for nuclear envelopathies. doi.org/10.7554/eLife.…

Really exciting study! We also didn’t find any membrane protein components for extraction of the nuclear envelope protein SUN2 (ubiquitylated by SCF E3). We discussed that this could be due to redundancy or that pulling force by p97 alone is sufficient. elifesciences.org/articles/81573
