@aruss_updates @therecount It wasn't a mass shooting. Accepted definitions, for example the Congressional Research Service and the FBI, require the shooter to commit at least 3/4 homicides. No victims died in the Congressional baseball shooting. 🤷🏻♂️

Democrats are not as bad as Republicans for it, but without a doubt US politics would be significantly less partisan and divisive if local associations selected candidates for the general election.

@BBCWorld Hmmm ... even if he confessed to wanting to kill Kavanaugh, that isn't necessarily attempted murder.
Prosecutors would have to show that his plan failed due to being arrested. Rather than him simply choosing not to carry it out.
