I saw a few posts the last couple of days highlighting how much of a needle mover Jordan Spieth is. I'm living proof. I'm Irish, never lived anywhere but Ireland yet I cancel all plans from Thursday-Sunday when Spieth tees it up. I don't do this for Rory or Lowry.

@StickToCricket @MichaelVaughan @LalitKModi Lots of holes in the argument here. Chief amongst which is the idea that two forms of cricket can’t coexist just because the rules are slightly different. Rugby League and Rugby Union have coexisted for years, children are taught both sports and they can handle it…

Jordan Spieth is really frustrated with his putter. On the other hand, he says tee to green this year was the best he has ever hit it at Augusta National. “I hit it better than the year I won and I hit it way better than any of the second places or fourths that I hit. Probably the best I ever hit it here and I typically put these greens very well.”

For what it's worth... In 2016, Jordan Spieth was 2nd in the world and defending Masters champion and lost a 5-shot lead with 9 holes to play. In 2026, Rory McIlroy is 2nd in the world, defending Masters champion and is 6 ahead with 36 holes to play. It feels over. It's not.
