The Consular Corps of London had their Annual General Meeting at the Cyprus High Commission in the UK. Consul General of Romania in London, Mr @RobertDMARIN was elected for another term as President of CCL.

The event addressed essential topics on cyber protection and cyber threats. We thank to all speakers, to the partners who actively support the activities of the CCL, and to the participants who joined us!

On Friday, 14th of November, at the @CGLondra, we organised a workshop dedicated to cybersecurity, delivered by specialists from the Metropolitan Police Service - Cyber Crime Unit.

CCL hosted another informative session at the Cyprus High Commission, delivered by the Home Office – National Community Engagement Team (NCET). We thank our speakers, our partners for supporting CCL’s activities, and all attendees for joining us.

Our event series continues. On 16 June, Prof. Corneliu Bjola (Oxford) joined us for a discussion on “Consular Diplomacy in the Digital and AI Age,” addressing automation, AI ethics, GDPR, crisis response and capacity building. Hosted by CCL and Romanian CG.

This was an opportunity to learn about MIPP, how it can assist in effectively managing mass casualty incidents, and how it supports victim identification.

We opened the Consular Corps of London calendar of events for the summer with a session on the Major Incident Public Portal (MIPP) for Mass Casualty Events, presented by the Metropolitan Police.
