Just learned tonight at Mar-a-Lago that Jeff Bezos was telling everyone that @realDonaldTrump would lose for sure, so they should sell all their Tesla and SpaceX stock 🤭

@NoonWithATune @catohoeben 'Passing tones', is that something to do with the Doppler effect?!

@catohoeben Yeah, get some extended chords going and you can end up with something completely different. Passing tones can really help the movement too! In terms of the melody, just makes sure it's not in the midst of tons of moving lines. It has a lot to do with range!

STRING ORCHESTRATION TIP: Sketch out an ensemble patch with block chords, then drag each voice into a different string instrument patch, IE Violins or Violas, chop the notes up so you get different note lengths and play around with each lline so that it keeps it interesting.

@decramundo @Mike_Batt .. the point being, I still don't see any cogent arguments in the quest for defining 'normalcy' as serving a different purpose to 'normality' or serving any purpose whatsoever given we already have words for the alternative meanings proposed.

@decramundo @Mike_Batt Aha, but no my friend, I was countering the suggestion by one of your other learned associates that normalcy could be differentiated from normality in that normalcy means 'normal policy'. My point was that for 'normal policy' we already have a word for that i.e 'the norm'.

Just seen the word “normalcy” in a newspaper piece. Whatever happened to “normality”? 🧐
