Based on data from how Playstation store normally does this, the pre orders typically open up 7-10 business days later. This would align with the info I was provided on pre orders. Also aligns for Wolverine with the State of Play week that I was given!

I believe that Bungie will have a “at least” 40% reduction in staff at some point this year. Here’s why: When I did my Bluepoint report, several of the sources told me that Playstation has more to trim this year and the rumor was Bungie or Bend would be next. However, it would depend heavily on how Marathon performed which would be reduced. With Marathon not performing to their needs, I reached out to those sources and they said Bungie acquisition is now complete, and they believed “at least” a 40% reduction would come, possibly up to 50%. I did not include this in my Bluepoint report because it was not tied to Bluepoint closing directly, and at the time we did not know performance of Marathon. So, do not be shocked if we see this announced in 2026. As always, I welcome Jason and others to confirm with their contacts too so we can solidify with numerous sources!

I hope they’re able to come back on their feet but they have to stop scapegoating Cyber Boi. He’s done nothing wrong, the recent Kotaku article proves he’s completely innocent. It’s a tragic story I’ve ever seen for a gaming company. They have a lot of work to do if they want to make AAA titles again.

Today, I had the pleasure of speaking directly with Leslie Benzies and Mark Gerhard, CEOs of Build A Rocket Boy. After those conversations I honestly feel much more reassured about the future of both the games and the studio. They answered many of the questions that all of us in the community have been asking for months, and over the next few days I’ll be sharing clips and more information from our conversations. These past few weeks have obviously been incredibly difficult, especially for the people who have left the studio, and I don’t want that to be forgotten or ignored. They know mistakes were made, and they’re not ignoring that. With a smaller team, a clearer focus, and much more attention being paid to community feedback, I genuinely believe things can improve from here. There’s still a long road ahead, but for the first time in a while, I’m feeling optimistic again about where Build A Rocket Boy, EVERYWHERE (yes, EV!) and MindsEye could go next.
